i apologize for the picture above, I know how it feels

Luke stood over his son's crib shushing him gently. "Shh, Drew, please go to sleep."

Andrew whined softly in return.

"Please, baby, shh, dad's tired and wants to go back and cuddle with daddy," Luke whispered. (DONT EVEN START. I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT.)

Andrew cried a little louder and Luke picked him up gently and sat down in the rocking chair, swaying back and forth.

"Do you want dad to sing to you?" Luke asked softly.

Andrew kept crying so Luke started singing the lyrics to Count on Me softly. Luke still hadn't noticed but Michael had been standing in the doorway watching the whole time. Michael was so in love with this boy it hurt. He watched with tears in his eyes and yawned softly.

It didn't take long after Luke started singing for Andrew to calm down. And even sooner after he fell asleep. Luke himself was starting to fall asleep too.

"Awh," Michael spoke from the door making Luke lookup. "My baby boy is stealing my man."

Luke chuckled softly and stood up with Andrew. He kissed his little head and laid him down in the crib. He whispered a goodnight to his son and walked to Michael.

"I'm just tired, that's all," Luke smiled.

"You know you could wake me and I could go check on him," Michael whispered.

Luke rested his forehead on Michael's. "I know, but you're so beautiful when you sleep."

"Oh shush," Michael giggled and lifted his lips onto Luke's.

Their kiss was gentle and filled with love. Luke grabbed onto Michael's waist and Michael lifted his arms up to pull Luke closer. That's when Andrew let out a little whine making them pull away.

"I've got it this time," Michael smiled.

Luke left his forehead on Michael's and a strong grip on his waist for a bit before letting him go.

"I love you," Michael giggled.

Luke breathed out. "I love you too, Kitten. Forever and always."

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb. Or, in this case, the cat fell in love with the wolf.

THE END. WOO. Okay I decided to write an epilogue but I'll do it later bc I gotta babysit. (maybe, cause im sick and if I get worse im not gonna do it today) Thanks for 60k on Kitten like holy shit???? anyways thank you so much for reading this series. You have no idea what this has done for me. I've gained so much more confidence in my writing, it's what I want to do for a living, and my other story, Kidnapped, I am re writing into a normal fiction novel and am going to send it into a publisher. Thank you guys for all the love. I'll talk to you again in the epilogue.
