"Kitten," Luke whispered, burying his face in the crook of Michael's neck. "Kitten wake up."

Michael adjusted himself but didn't wake up. Luke nuzzled his nose against his neck, getting him to giggle.

"Wake up," Luke whispered again.

"Mm," Michael hummed. "What time is it?"

"Six," Luke chuckled.

"Why," Michael whined, burying his head back into the pillow. "It's so early."

"I'm taking you somewhere, we need to leave now," Luke said.

Michael didn't even react, he just lifted up his arms, "carry me."

"Alright," Luke said, no hesitation at all.

He lifted his boy up and walked out of their room, out of the apartment and down to the car. Thankfully he already packed the car earlier before he woke up Michael.

Luke got to the car and placed Luke into the passenger seat. When he closed the door he watched Michael cuddle up to the window and smiled to himself. He got into the driver's seat and began the three hour ride, stopping at McDonalds to get himself a couple coffees.

The drive went fast for Luke, as he listened to music, and it went even faster for Michael, as he slept the whole way.

"Kitten, we're here," Luke hummed, pulling up on a gravel driveway.

"Mm, where's here?" Michael mumbled, stirring in his seat.

"Open your eyes and look," Luke chuckled.

When Michael eventually did look, he noticed a log cabin in front of them. It was fair sized, lake front and surrounded by trees.

"A cabin?" Michael asked.

Luke nodded. "It's not ours, I just rented it for the weekend."

Luke got out of the car, eager to stretch his legs and Michael soon followed, quickly moving to Luke so he could lean on him, still tired. Luke chuckled and kissed his head.

"I figured since this will be one of, or even the last weekend we'll have to ourselves for a while, considering our baby is due next week, I'd get us a romantic getaway," Luke explained.

Michael giggled.

"Come on, Kitten, let's go inside," Luke said, lifting him up.

Michael cuddled into Luke's chest making Luke smile at how cute he was when he was tired. He walked into the Cabin and laid Michael down on the couch.

"Do you want to sleep or go on a boat ride?" Luke asked, chuckling.

Michael's eyes opened. "There's a boat?"

"Hell yeah there's a boat," Luke smirked.

"I wanna go on a boat!" Michael said, rising to his feet.

"Okay, well I packed out swim stuff, so we can go change into that," Luke said, walking back to the car. He brought their bags inside.

The two were kick at changing and Luke took Michael's hand walking to the dock.

"This place is really beautiful," Michael smiled from the end of the dock.

He breathed in the air and watched the calm air while Luke stood there, watching the love of his life. He didn't care about the view, all he cared about was Michael.
