Michael sat on his bed, still not over what had happened a week ago. He hadn't stopped crying and he hadn't been eating.
He was currently reading one of his favourite books; Eleanor and park. That is, until a voice distracted him.
"Your uh, mom let me in," Michael looked up. It was Ashton.
"Oh.. Hi," Michael whispered, closing the book. "D-did Luke send you?"
Ashton shook his head and sat next to Luke on the bed.
"H-how did you k-know where I was?" Michael asked.
Ashton shrugged. "Just a feeling."
Michael nodded.
"Look, Michael, I'm not only Luke's friend, I'm your friend to," Ashton said.
Michael smiled slightly, "really?"
Ashton laughed. "You're cute."
Michael's smile faded a bit.
"Luke is really lucky, I hope he knows that," Ashton continued.
Michael shrugged. "I guess he doesn't.."
"That's why I'm here, I heard Luke's story, but I don't think that's really what happened," Ashton said.
"What did Luke tell you?"
"Well, he said that after we left you said some things about his dad and he got mad and yelled, then you just left," Ashton explained.
"Oh.." Michael whispered.
"What really happened?"
"Uh, kind of that.. He was drunk, and we uh, we're adopting a baby, I-I don't know if you knew that.. Anyways, I was u-upset and asked him if he wanted to end up like his dad.. And.. And he uh.." Michael trailed off.
"Michael?" Ashton said. "Did Luke hurt you?"
"He uh.. He shoved me against a wall.. And yelled," Michael said.
"Oh my.." Ashton sighed. "I.. I'm sorry, I didn't know Luke was like that."
Michael shook his head. "No, no.. He's not.. I'm sure it's just the alcohol.. He just scared me."
Ashton wrapped his arm around Michael. "You didn't deserve that."

"Calum, I don't know what to do," Luke said, heavily breathing.
"First of all, you need to calm down," Calum said.
"How the hell am I supposed to calm down?! He's gone! I love him!" Luke yelled.
"Luke, listen to me, look, I'm only telling you this because I love you, but what you're doing is wrong," Calum sighed.
"Wow, thank's for your help," Luke groaned, running his hand through his hair.
"Hey, you know it's wrong. You've been treating him like shit, getting drunk all the time, and well, y'know," Calum sighed.
"But I love him!" Luke protested.
Calum stayed quiet.
"What? You want me to tell you I love you as well? Is that what you want to hear?" Luke asked.
Calum didn't move.
"Right, okay! I love you too! But Michael is fragile! Who know's where he could be, he could be out somewhere freezing!" Luke frowned.
"You have to pick, this isn't right. It's either me or him," Calum stated.
"I can't.. I can't," Luke sighed.
"Wait 'till things cool down a bit, get him back, wait some more, and we'll, uh, wait and see what happens, alright?" Calum suggested.
Luke looked at Calum.
"I know what you're going to say," Calum sighed.
"I can't see you anymore."
