"Hey," Nate said as he smiled at me, shaking away the sleepiness. "Aren't you going to go to sleep?"

"Give me a sec," I said as I typed away on my laptop. Once I've finished the paragraph that I've been writing, I turned to him.

"Come on, you need to sleep," he said as he hugged me, his eyes drifting shut.

"Sorry, gorgeous, I have to finish this by tomorrow morning. I still need to send it for them to review it and inspect if I've overlooked some of the tables and graphs," I said, rubbing my eyes.

"I like that nickname," he teased as he smiled at me. "But you're clearly sleepy."

"I'm still good," I assured him and gave him a smile.

"Come on, give me your laptop," he said as he started sitting up. I was just staring at him as he grabbed his glasses and snatched my laptop. "So tell me, munchkin, this is the budget allotment for the plan you're working on?"

I just continued to stare at him looking through the figures, my mouth agape.

"What?" he asked when he realized that I was staring.

"Nothing. It's just that I never knew you wear glasses and that you're interested in such boring stuff," I commented.

"Well, actually, I have a business degree and was President of our University's Junior Executive Organization," he said absentmindedly as he scrolled through the analysis and discussions.

"I didn't know you had a business degree," I said. "I thought you studied Multimedia Arts."

"Nope," he answered.

"Well aren't you CEO material," I teased. "Come on, just sleep. Let me do it."

He placed his arm on my shoulder and kissed my temple. "We'll work on it together."

"But it's not your job to finish all that. You shouldn't lose sleep because of some stupid reports," I groaned.

He just chuckled at me and said, "Look, if we're gonna be together, I refuse to let my girlfriend work all night on her own. Plus, it's not just some stupid reports, isn't this that big plan you've been working on for months?"

"How did you know that?" I asked.

"Well, I might have done my research and asked Natalia a hell of a lot of things," he said with a boyish grin.

I laughed and said, "What am I going to do with you?"

"You can call me gorgeous all the time and give me kisses and hugs," he suggested.

I kissed him and grinned. "Let's get to work then, gorgeous."

By half past 3 in the morning, me and Nate were still working on my reports. We've probably had a dozen cups of coffee which I know is totally bad for the health.

"So, you still have to revise this one because it's not that detailed enough yet," he said, pointing at one paragraph of the report but I was just too sleepy to actually pay attention to the stuff he was saying after that.

"Winter?" he called.

I shook away the sleepiness and looked at him. "Yup?"

"I promise this is the last one. After that, we can go to sleep," he said with a smile.

"Alright," I said and grabbed the laptop from his hand and typed away.

"There, all done!" I said. "Good job, team!"

When I looked at Nate however, he was already fast asleep.

"So much for staying up with me," I chuckled. I sent the document and closed the laptop. Removing Nate's glasses, he stirred a bit but still did not wake up. Best boyfriend ever.

"Goodnight, gorgeous," I said.

By 9 in the morning, me and Nate were still in bed and I just woke up to the sound of drumming.

"Bloody hell what is that? I'm trying to sleep," Nate grumbled.

I snuggled onto his back and murmured, "Make them stop the noise, Nathaniel."

"Oh god," he said and got up. His hair was a mess and his eyes were a bit sunken and he had a frown on his face.

He walked towards the door and opened it. I expected him to find where the sound was coming from but instead he just yelled "Shut the bloody fuck up!" towards the hallway.

He started walking towards the bed again, rubbing his eyes and I stayed there, staring at him in disbelief. When he noticed me, he got into bed and said, "What?"

"You do realize that it could have been my mother or my father making that noise right?" I asked.

"The Queen playing drums like she's a member of 5 Seconds of Summer though. Now that's a sight I wouldn't want to miss," he said with a smirk.

"Are you secretly in love with Luke Hemmings?" I faked shock.

"No. Actually, I prefer Ashton. We dated a couple of months back but we broke up because I didn't know how to sing as well as he did," he teased. "But seriously though, I don't really listen to their music. I just know about them because I've lived in Australia and I always see them in magazines."

"Ashton's mine. Back off," I said.

He hugged me tighter and put his face on the crook of my neck which made me a bit ticklish.

"You're mine," he said, his voice  little muffled.

"Sure, gorgeous," I laughed.

"You know, I would say that I would love to wake up to this every morning if it hadn't been for the fact that we were woken up by hellish drumming," he said with a smirk.

I just laughed and sat up.

"Come on, let's go downstairs. I'm hungry and I'll turn into a beast if you don't feed me," I said, laughing.

When we got down, everybody was having brunch.

"Well, if it isn't our lovebirds," my father said with a smile. "You know, I still haven't given you permission to sleep in my daughter's bedroom, young man."

Nate's eyes widened and he started blushing. "Oh... Well, I-- I didn't really..."

"Relax. I'm just messing with you. You were always too easy to tease," my father said with a laugh. "Get seated, you two."

We took our seats beside Matthew and Charles.

"It looks like you've been up all night. Did you guys use protection?" Matthew asked with a wide grin on his face and I couldn't help but choke on my own spit. He just said that in front of my family and all of them were struggling to not laugh.

"You're such a twat!" I said, punching his arm. "We were revising a budget allotment until 3 in the morning!"

"Sure," Matthew said and continued eating.

There was silence for a few minutes and I was thankful Matthew didn't say anything else.

"Isabella, Nathaniel, as much as I would love to have a grandchild, you both should still use protection," my mother said and I wanted nothing but to sink in the ground and rot in peace.
