The past few days were spent on catching up and doing random stuff. I guess that Natalia had a brilliant plan in mind, giving me and Nate as much free time as she can by doing all my work. Even though I felt bad, I knew that the free time was spent with so much fun.

By lunch, my mother asked me and Nate to meet her in the study and as we walked, me and Nate were laughing while having a little playful banter. When we reached the study, my parents were there as well as another lady who looked rather friendly.

"Sit down, both of you," my mother said as she offered the girl a cup of tea. Sure, don't offer me some. I really don't like tea. Note the sarcasm.

"So, lovebirds," my father said. "This is Penny Caden."

"Hello," I said as I shook her hand. Nate shook her hand as well and greeted her with a friendly smile.

"Since both of you have already resolved your issues and rekindled your love for each other," my father said.

"Dad!" I exclaimed, embarrassed of how he said it.

"What? I practically hear the both of you say 'i love you' to each other all the time and I feel like it's on repeat inside my brain," he argued.

My mother rolled her eyes at the both of us and said, "Anyway, Penny here will handle how you two are going to act in public. We need to find a right way to show the public that you two are indeed together."

"Can't we just do it the normal way? If they find out then whatever. It's not their life," I said.

"You know that's not how it works," my mother said. "So we'll just go over the rules when you two are out together. We know how the both of you can be and we don't really want scandalous news spreading around."

"Alright," I said and turned to Nate. "Is that alright with you?"

"Sure," he said and winked at me. "Anything for you."

I blushed furiously and glared at him for blatantly making me feel embarrassed. He picked a good time to say it as well, since my parents are literally in front of us.

Nathaniel and I were in my room, playing Call of Duty and basically throwing threats at each other when he said, "So, girlfriend, I've actually been planning a date for quite some time now."

"Tell me more about this date, boyfriend," I said, not being able to remove the grin on my face.

"Well, here's a slice of awesome--we go to this restaurant that makes the best pizza in the whole wide world, while talking about normal stuff," he said.

"Hmm, that is a slice of awesome. I say yes to that," I said and hugged him really tight.

"Why are you squeezing the life out of me?" he asked.

"For some reason, I want to cuddle you like a teddy bear," I confessed.

"Well, I don't have a problem with that," he said when he lay on the bed and dragged me with him. "Maybe we can go for pizza tomorrow. I just want to have a cuddle with you right now."

He hugged me tightly and was about to fall asleep when I shook him awake.
He looked at me groggily and rubbed his eyes.

"You tempted me with the best pizza in the world and I intend to digest them in my tummy right now," I said as I ruffled his hair.
