Inayos ko yung pagkakatuck-in ng white long sleeves ko, "Your dad has the same route as yours, you wanna hop in?" Tanong niya.

"No, I can drive." I pushed my almost dry hair back. I fixed my collar and placed my tie neatly.

I heard a quick sigh from her before she came to me, "Pagpasensyahan mo na 'yung daddy mo, bugok minsan 'yun." Natatawa niyang sabi.

"That's unnecessary." I chuckled. She caressed the back of my head and smiled at me with a delightful face.

"Good luck on your first day, anak." I smiled.

First day of internship. Well, life must go on. Struggles shouldn't make you stop from achieving your dreams. Hindi ako makaka-earn ng hours for my credit.

Baka raw kasi kinakabahan ako, at least kailangan ko raw ng moral support from him. I just shrugged it all off with a laugh.

I was whistling while my left arm is rested on the steering wheel. At least this will ease the uneasiness, I guess.

I walked my way towards the elevator with confidence on my face. I need to make this impression so that people won't bother me.

Since this is only the first day of my internship, hindi ako mage-expect na marami agad akong haharaping trabaho. Nang makarating ako sa third floor, pumasok ako sa conference hall kung saan kami bibigyan ng remarks before we proceed to our stations. Hinanap ko muna yung designated seats namin bago ako pumwesto.

I must say, there are plenty of us inside the room. Now that I'm looking at them, iba-iba ang suot nila. Some are wearing formal clothes, and some look the same as what I wear. As per mine, it's.. colorful. I guess it's associated to our specialties.

Believe it or not, but I am a Feature writer.

Pumwesto ako sa bandang harapan just so I could have a clearer vision. I pushed my specs up the bridge of my nose. Ang hirap talaga kapag malabo ang mata. I am not comfortable wearing contact lenses so I am left with no choice but to wear eyeglasses. Hindi ko pa naman afford ang mag-undergo ng eye surgery dahil gusto ko, pag-gagastusan ko 'yun on my own money.

Tinignan ko ang oras sa relo ko. We still have 45 minutes until our call time.
