I laugh a diabolical laugh as I see his sorry face return and plonk down on the sofa.

"Ahem. Pizza." I command.

He fishes out his phone. One thing I noticed about him was he wasn't depressed per se. Introverted, witty, and currently, unimaginative are the only words that could describe him. Its like he has given up on life's true motives...

He searched for the Pizzeria's number and starts speaking.

"Hello yeah fuck you man," He says. Wow that is a pleasant way to order a pizza.

"Yeah yeahh... one question, if she were to live with me all this while, why does she have an office, " he asks. Oh. He's talking to Bryce. he hangs up after exactly 10 seconds and says "Well your new office has been converted BACK into the crèche for kids of his employees who aren't old enough to go to school yet when he got to know how much we love each other."

"Pfftt. Do I look like I'm any happier than you are?"I say. "Whatever."he mutters.

"Now I'm going to my room and having a nice long bath. When I get back, I should see a twelve inch pepperoni pizza on the table with a green apple soda can. I don't care what you order for yourself, but my dinner should be ready."I say stiffly.

"Pepperoni for the Pepper girl."he snorts.

"Was that supposed to be funny?"I ask without any look of amusement on my face.

"Okay! Geez! Is this even my house anymore?"he says finally giving up. I beam in the joy of victory.

I lock my room from inside so I can enjoy my own space for sometime.  This room is big! It's all white and black, with a huge fluffy bed. This is a kind of bed I would jump on like an overly enthusiastic kid, but I'm too tired right now.

I put on some slow and soothing music in the bathroom and actually fall asleep in the tub for a while. This was so relaxing!

I put on my bathrobe and just lie on the bed for a while then I change into a pair of loose sweatpants and a baggy sweatshirt. Comfort at its best!

Back in the living room, there's no sign of Jason. His room is locked so he must have taken his food inside, not like guy can go anywhere without a car. My pizza and soda are sitting on the table with the bill.

Green Apple Soda × 1

Budweiser Beer Can × 1

Jason Salt is so gonna regret not following my orders. Damn I feel so evil right now. And guess what makes evil better? Anger. And that's what I'm feeling right now.

Anyway, for now I put the anger to one side and enjoy my pizza and soda whilst I watch endless episodes of House MD on the plasma TV and fall asleep on the couch.

...

I remember setting an alarm for 5 AM in the morning on my mobile, that's how I wake up. I really don't want to though. But I have a little revenge planned out so I guess I have to. I quickly change into my spaghetti top and make myself some coffee.

I knock on the jerk's door. No response. I keep knocking and finally he opens his door, looking really sleepy, with just his boxers on.

"Put on a T-shirt and get outside. You have five minutes."I say.

"Are you crazy? It's the middle of the night!"he says lazily. God, this is hilarious.

"No, it's early in the morning."I say calmly.

He just shakes his head, turns around and walks back to his bed.

"I might have some more information about Amanda that I'd like to share..."I say, beaming. He looks at me for sometime and then finally says,"Okay fine."

Damn I'm so proud of myself.

He follows me to the balcony, just like that, in his boxers. "Aren't you gonna change?"I ask.

"Whatever."he says.

Okay then. I just ignore him and sit down on the rug with my legs crossed, in a yoga position.

"What are you doing?"he asks.

"We are going to meditate." I say, grinning at him.

He peers out into the street and says, "Say! 6 floors is enough to kill a man, right?"
