As Dan and I got ready for Avery and David's dinner party I couldn't help but think about Sammy (her dead ex). I remember when he use to take me out on huge dates almost every Saturday. Usually we went dancing, or one time he brought me on the greatest date ever, we went on a hot air balloon and then a fancy dinner at some French restaurant.

"What are you thinking about?" Dan whispers form behind me and snakes his arms around my waist.

"Oh, you know, the past." I sigh and put my earrings in quickly. "We should go, we're going to be late to the party." I say and grab my purse with all of my necessities inside.

As we walked out, Chris and Laura were also coming out of Chris's room. They stopped in their tracks as they saw Dan and I looking at them. Laura tries to make it seem like nothing, but before she can even say anything, I'm clapping Chris on the back.

"Good job, you two have finally admitted your undying love. Now, don't get to handsy, we don't want little Chris's and Laura's running around yet." I tease as Chris and Dan laugh along with me.

Laura, being her, has to take it the wrong way completely and ruin the moment. "Excuse me, I don't think so, I wouldn't have kids even if my life depended on it. Like I would ever want to ruin this body of mine with having boulder sized kids rammed through my vagina." she says, appalled, maybe she didn't ruin the moment because that had us all laughing our butts off even more.

After she realized this, she just stomped away like a little child. Chris didn't bother running to her, she would just tell him to leave her alone as soon as she realized.

"Are you coming with us to the party?" Dan asks.

"Nah, I'm not exactly one of Avery or David's favorite people right now." Chris brushes off and waves bye to us as he disappears into his room.

You should come, I think to him, you might be able to get something out of Avery... especially since I know she'll be drinking. Or you could get something out of David. He is the mystery person right now.

"Oh second thought, why not tag along and see where Avery lives, I don't think any of us has ever been to her place." Chris says and slams his door shut. Clearly he likes the idea.

As we knock on Avery's door, I couldn't help but wonder where the hell she got all of the money to rent a place like this! It wasn't even an apartment, it was more like a huge house! Avery smiles and let's us in, which is weird and puts me on edge. Why is Avery being so nice....?

"Hello, you three happen to be the first ones here." Avery says. She has curled her hair so it's in the middle of her back, not nearly to her butt like usual. She was also wearing a purple dress with a tight bottom piece. She did look beautiful, but when did she not to be honest? "Thank you, Lav, but I can't say the same for you." she teases as David comes out of the kitchen and greets us all with a huge smile.

"Hey everyone! I've made the best turkey for us all and I can't wait to finally get to sit down and talk with you all! I've heard so much about you guys!" he said in a super friendly voice, but I still didn't like him. "Babe, why don't you give them all a short little look-around while I cook?" David asks and Avery sighs, but take us through her house.

"Wow, Avery, I never knew someone could have you so whipped." Chris laughs. It was quite funny how she just accepted what he said and even I was having a hard time not laughing.

"Shut up, Chris, at least my relationship isn't based on sneaking around because Laura doesn't want people to know that you two are together." Avery snaps, and that shuts Chris right up as he glares his blue eyes at her own blue ones. I wish they could just be friends already.
