Zara's P. O. V.
It was scorching, broiling, searing. The flames were eating away at me and I was unable to move but soon discovered that I was chained to the floor.
I used all of my strength to break the chains but it was useless. No amount of brawn could possibly break the restraint.
After many failed attempts I finally gave up. It was dark and humid. The only source of light I caught glimpse of were the flames licking away at the cage. I noticed that the doors of the dungeon were slightly cracked.
I then heard the large, creaky door opening slowly allowing me to capture more light from the outside.
A tall figure was making its way towards me with heavy footsteps. I couldn't quite make out a face.
The jingling of keys could be heard as the figure proceeded to walk towards me. It came to a halt.
"You have what I truly desire," the voice boomed, echoing within the room with its gruesomely deep voice.
Although it was cringe worthy and quite unpleasant, I didn't fear it.
"What do you want from me? Release me at once!" I demanded. The voice cackled evilly and reveled itself.
It was mortifying. An eye sore. Too foul for words.
It was cursed. It looked sick and deathly as was his sickening stench. I had no possible clue as to what he was.
He inched his body closer to the cage, immune to the flames.
"I need your companion Ellie, for only her powers shall heal and save me."
My eye grew wider but soon reverted to anger. Ellie had been born an elf with a given power to bring back full health, heal wounds, and cure diseases and curses.
She was a few years younger than me. Before my mother and father were killed in battle, they accepted her as their own. We cared for her after her village was burned down and her family died.
I vowed that no companion of mine shall ever be left behind or wounded.
"I won't let you have her," I growled feeling the anger increasing within me.
He smirked maliciously and unlocked the cage, blocking the opening to prevent any escape. My nose shriveled up from his odor. He came forward, leaving hardly any space between him and I.
"What a wench you must be!" he scoffed and strangled me.
I struggled to breath as I fought back. "Let- g-go of me," I managed to say.
"I will get her I can assure you that!" he stated angrily.
"I want her executed now!"
Two armed men with maroon and silver armor came marching forth.
Their footsteps in synch with one another, they both paused in front of me. One on my right side with another on my left side.
The cursed creature took the key into his hands and undid my chains. I was grabbed and restrained with my arms behind my back. They took both my Katana and long sword into their possession.
We began the dreadful walk to the execution room. I was growing impatient. I needed to find a way by some means of escape.
This dungeon reeked of that cursed creature. I stopped in my tracks, almost making them fall over.
"Do not be defiant! Let's move!" the one on the right ordered me.
As soon as I found the opportunity available, I propelled my right arm forward, breaking from his grasp and lunged it to punch the other knight.
