Alexander and I practiced a lot and even though I was an expert at what I do, I feel like I perfected my skills.

It's been about six months of us training regularly and I could see drastic changes. And our friendship grew stronger.

Since I had no armor for him (all of my soldiers being women) he would practice shirtless.

I wasn't complaining though.

Those rock hard abs and muscles always distracted me. But really, who wouldn't be?

Our swords clashed and slid together. He would sweat beads of sweat onto the stone floors. He would get closer and closer with each hit.

We've recently been building a flirtationship and I wanted him to be mine so bad.

He hit me on my side and with that, that was the end of the practice. I took a seat on the stairwell and removed my helmet.

He took a seat next to me and I lay my head to rest on his shoulder.

"Nice job today," I smiled. "You really have improved a lot. Maybe you can actually live here at some point."

His eyes gleamed and he gave me a toothy smile.

His grin was so perfect. Nice pearly white teeth. So straight too.

"I'd love to short stuff," he teases while ruffling my hair.

I rolled my eyes as I look up at the ceiling.

"I have a question," he says surprising me.

"Sure anything."

"When was the last time you had a mate?"

I looked at him shocked and blushed from embarrassment. "Um.." I fumbled.

"Well.. If I can be honest I haven't really been with anyone before. I've been so occupied with my Kingdom that I have never really focused on my love life."

He laughed. "That's adorable!"

I feel like I'm on fire!

I blushed a deep shade of red. "Although I can admit that I do have my eye on a certain someone," I confessed.

He raised an eyebrow looking as curious as ever. "Oh really?" he said. "And who is this special someone?"

"You don't need to know," I say sheepishly. "Who knows, you might find out soon enough. Or never. You may never know."

"Pfft, I have my suspicions. I know how you act. This will be easy. So easy," he teases.

"I highly doubt it," I remark confidently.

"We'll just see about that," he says nearing my face. I feel a tingling sensation spread throughout my body.

I scan his beautiful face before turning away. "Anyways are you staying for dinner or are you going back home?" I questioned trying to ignore my feelings.

He stayed silent just smiling up at me for a split moment. "I think I'll stay for dinner."

I smiled and I walked up the many flights of stairs until we reached the dinning room.

Everyone was there and in addition a few new people who of course, were acting their crazy selves. Lila and Ellie finally came out to everyone.

Asena invited Midori over and she was half drunk with a cup of beer in her hand, cheering and chanting around the table. Everyone laughed at Asena's mate while Asena shook her head at her silliness.
