Lie or Truth?

Zara's P. O. V.

I roll out of my useless and unsatisfactory sleep with swollen eyes. I rub my eyes and sit there for moment before getting up.

I stumble out of the tent to hear the girls giggling from the bushes. I ignore the sounds of joy and take my bath in the near by springs.

I sighed reflecting on what happened last night.

I wonder if he's still mad at me. This day will be unpleasantly awkward if so.

I scrub my arms and wash my hair and dive under the water.

Well I'll just have to suck it up. For the sake of the others.

I swam to the surface and over to the land where I changed into my armor. Since we were leaving soon I already had my weapons prepared.

I place my swords in their sheathes and grab the bow and arrow I took from the Fortress.

To hide my swollen eyes, I shield my face with my helmet and walked out front with the others.

The first person I see is of course Alexander.

Great! How phenomenal!

He didn't look all that great either. Almost as if he was deprived of sleep and peace.

His face, which was creamy and perfect looked restless. His eyes which were beautiful and glowing, were dark and covered in dark under eye circles.

The girls on the other hand were giddy and cheery as per usual, completely oblivious as to what was going on.

"Alright Boss!" Aurora beams. "We're ready to kick some ass!"

The other girls became rowdier and shout out a gleeful "Yes!" in unison.

I cleared my throat and gulped before speaking, trying to keep my composer.

"Well," I started. "We need to get Alexander his armor first."

They all nodded except for Alexander.

"The village near by can help us with that. It shouldn't take to long to reach there however it may take a bit of time to get everything," suggested Athena.

"Alright," I sighed. "Let's be on our way shall we?"

We all got on our assigned pegasus's and took off West.

Asena, Alexander and I were on Luna soaring through the beautifully lit sky. But there was tension in the air.

Alexander distanced himself from us two and sat towards the back while we sat in the front.

"Did you get some action last night?" Asena teased as she nudged me in the arm. "Did you get some hard, glorious rod inside of you?"

Silence.

I stood rock still completely lost in my thoughts.

"Zara?" she waves her hands in my face.

I snapped out of it.

"What?" I ask completely lost.

"What's wrong with you? You're out of it today!" she exclaims.

"I'll explain later, right now is not the best time," I whispered, just to make sure Alexander couldn't hear us.

We both sighed as we continued the long boring ride in silence.

I feel like such a dickhead.
