It was a full moon and I could hear the werewolves howling off into the distance.
They were going through their transformation and were running off to their sworn enemies and killing them off.
There goes Midori.
I was seething and distraught at this whole mess.
How could I have let this happen?
And besides that I could hardly stand!
"Zar? Calm do-" Aroura started.
"No! How in the Hell can I calm down?!"
Aurora looked towards the ground suddenly finding it more interesting. I feel an embrace from behind and their manly scent overpowering me.
I become less tense as he calms me down and whispers to me.
"Hey, we'll find her alright? And we will all fight together. Just try to relax," Alexander reassures me.
I sighed.
I know where he probably is.
Unfortunately I don't know the name of the area. All I knew was that it was close to Wayville village, where I was on a quest and suddenly kidnapped.
"We need to search around the area, I have a feeling of where she might be," I huffed.
Both of my fellow companions quickly turn their heads and focus their attention on me.
"Where?" they questioned in unison.
"I remember I went on a quest in Wayville village and on my way back to the Fortress, that thing captured me too."
"Alright!" says Aroura.
We've been flying for two hours and Wayville was an hour away. It was surely afternoon time by now and we were all pretty hungry, tired and in need of a bath.
And pain for me.
I glanced over to my left to see Asena, Athena and a very distraught Lila on the white pegasus.
Lila seemed as upset as I was, if not worse. And even though she wore a helmet, I bet those tears were pouring down her face.
Asena sat towards closer to where I was, behind Lila while Athena was upfront with the supplies.
An hour later
We finally landed. The village was still under construction from the previous attack and had very little homes left.
The men were rebuilding huts while the woman picked and planted crops and cooked. The little children were running and playing around the large oak tree.
Within a matter of seconds we had already caught the attention of the villagers. They looked confused for a moment before I removed my helmet.
"Oh Zara! You're back!" they cheered. The little children ran to me and hugged me to death as the mothers greeted me from afar.
I smiled feeling temporarily happy. But then I remembered my duty for being here.
"Alright young ones, go on and play," I shooed them off as we walked up to the people in the village and questioned them.
"Have you noticed anything weird going on? Any crimes committed lately?" I asked full of anticipation.
"Yes!" one man exclaims.
A wave of excitement and relief brushed over me as my jaw dropped.
"Tell me more!"
The man mentioned something like a creature stalking and creeping around at night. It changed form to disguise itself and is claimed to be diseased and deformed.
