Zara's P. O. V.

I swam rapidly to avoid the storm of bones that were pelting down at us. It seemed that Alexander and Asena were having an easy time taking down the winged enemies.

The army of slender skeletons awaited us on the shore. Their hollow black holes studied our every movement as we neared them.

I sprang forward and hurtled my small but powerful body towards the boney felon.

Before taking them down I leaped up as high as I could before slashing off the skulls of five other Skull Mouth members.

Their skeletal structures along with their skulls collapsed into pieces and onto the ground. The battle was quite tedious and prosaic and went along quickly.

Pretty soon the whole land was cleared off and completely empty of enemies.

Was that all? How simple! A waste of my time overall.

Or so I thought.

Suddenly a mist of purple specs evaporated from the sea of bones. One by one my comrades dropped like flies.

Oh no!

I quickly stopped breathing for a moment and secured my helmet on before inhaling the oxygen it provided for me.

Pandemic swarm. This is poison.

In front of me a large shadow began to form over the horizon. It gradually got closer and closer to me until I could make out the silhouette of a giant like skeleton.

No words were exchanged. The boney hand almost instantly tried to swoosh me away with its boney hand.

I dodged the attack and leaped forward, slightly distancing myself from the poisons fumes. The leader jolted back as its large size made the ground shake.

I fell but quickly picked myself up and ran to the back of the enemy. Confused he looked around oblivious to my next plan.

I successfully destroyed his right leg which caused the boney foe to come crashing down.

Luckily just before he came down Midnight and Luna swooped below to grab the fallen and flew back to safety.

I ran up its spine while I unsheathed my other sword, trying to be as fast as possible. When I reached its neck I slashed of its skull as it rolled forward towards the sea.

I heaved trying to catch my breath as I looked at the lone skull floating away in the distance.

The fumes began to vanish along with the fog. The sun shined brightly, almost blinding to the eye. The clear skies were beautiful and it was no longer a sad land of death.

I took off my helmet and inhaled the fresh air. "Zara!"

I looked around. Nothing. I looked up and saw my companions waving at me. I assumed that the poison wore off when the enemies were defeated.

Luna flew down to my level and I mounted onto her soft back. She flew into the blue skies as the breeze brushed against us.

4 Hours Later

It was going to reach night time soon and I didn't want us to fly all night. The pegasus would get tired. The food supply low. Even though the poison wore off, my members showed signs of fatigue and foggy memory.

I knew of a place were we could rest for a while. Star was a friend of mine who is also a werewolf and belongs to the other pack.

Saige and Kiba were the strongest Alpha's in all of Yazar. They have the biggest den around and are respected by all. Of course, their classic enemies were the vampires and they had tension with The Silver Moon pack.
