Chapter 3

Adira's POV:

"Well Adira, maybe I'll see around since we are staying in San Diego for a  couple days" Lamar said while the employee called his name for his food

"Why are you guys staying longer? Isn't there more shows?" I asked being my noisy self

"Our next show is in L.A. so we decided to explore San Diego before we left."

"Makes sense, well here if you need help finding something just give me a call I know this town like the back of my head" I said putting my number on a napkin then giving it to him walking away with a big smile on my face. 

As I dragged Lilian away from Hyghly she kept telling me about how much fun she had and she was so glad I convinced her to come with me but when we arrived to our house she didn't even eat her burger she just went to bed, so I ate mine since I hadn't had in-n-out in forever.

~Morning~

My alarm went off at 4:15, I honestly didn't want to get up for work. It didn't help I got home at midnight. I finally had the urge to get up and take a shower grabbing my wide tooth comb, I brushed my hair before getting in the shower, I hopped in the shower applying shampoo to my roots and conditioner to my ends, I combed my hair in the shower allowing my natural curls to form without knots. After 15 of hot water to my aching muscles I decided to wear a striped crop top shirt with a simple black kimono over it, faded ripped skinny jeans, goth chunky platform oxford shoes, and to top it off I wore a simple hand chain and a ear cuff, for my makeup I did a very natural look. Working in the fashion industry mean't I always had to up my clothing game!

Checking my watch, I realized I was pretty early so I decided to make my breakfast. As I was cutting my mango it came to my attention my phone was ringing with a unknown number, I decided to answer thinking it was a new client.

"Hello?"

"Hey mystery gi- I mean Adira."

"Are lost already Lamar?!" I said with a smirk

"Don't you think it's a little early to start with the sarcasm?"

"Don't you think it's a little early to call? What if I sleeping, it is 5:15 am."

"WERE YOU SLEEPING THO?!" I heard someone yell in the background

"No, I wasn't actually thanks for asking who ever asked."

"Yo my bad Adira the crew is in my hotel room that was abel being abel"

When he said Abel was pretty much listening to our conversation I freaked out inside, he now knew I existed. My life was pretty much complete!

"It's all good listen I gotta go to work in a bit so I'll talk to you later Lamar. Oh and Abel, Happy Thursday!" I said before hanging up.
