Chapter 33

Adira POV- The next morning

I got up from my bed and called Lamar like he told me but he didn't answer, he rejected my call. Then I called Abel to check on him and he answered.

"Hey", his voice was deeper than usual he probably just woke up himself.

"Hey deep voice."

"Don't hate on it." there was a loud background definitely not his normal loud crew.

"Where are you? It's really loud."

"Um I woke up earlier and came to starbucks." he's obviously lying but Imma let it slide.

"Oh, I would've thought you would have went to the coffee shop you took me to."

"Yeah I just kind of felt like having Starbucks for some reason."

"Oh well okay, what's today's plans?" I asked, pretending to believe his lie.

"Studio, studio, and studio. You?"

"Recovery from past couple nights and might visit my grandma."

"Tell grandma I said hi."

"Tell mama tesfaye I said hi.", we laughed.

"What was the deal last night? You and Lamar were making my phone crazy. Then Lamar rejected my call before I called you."

He stayed quite for like a minute.

"Nothing, it's nothing. I gotta go I'll facetime you later. Bye" he hung up before I can say anything.

I heard footsteps and assumed it was Lilian so I didn't say anything. She knocked on my and came in.

"I'm home.", she was carrying her clothes from last night in her arms. I'm guessing she borrowed Jessica's clothes.

"Thanks for leaving me with don you ass!" I playfully threw one of my small pillows at her.

"Haha sorry but you know I always leave who I come with. So tell me what happened did you sleep with him." she jumped on my bed and laid next to me.

I stayed quiet. I didn't want to say I slept with him because I still feel bad even though Abel probably sleeps with strippers every night but this is different because this guy actually likes me and wants to get to know me, and here I am leading him on.

"YOU DID SLEEP WITH HIM! OH MY GOD HOW WAS IT?!" she squealed, I think she like him more than me!

"Wouldn't you like to know!"

"That is why I'm asking" she said with sass I just laughed at the fact that she didn't try to get with him.

"Call him and fuck him yourself."

"Aw come on at least tell me his dick game!" she whined

"Fine fine! Bigger than Abel but Abel has a stronger game." I admitted.

"Damnnnnn! You always getting lucky and I've been in this game longer than you!"

We laughed and went downstairs to figure out breakfast, we ended up making omelettes and potatoes. After breakfast I got ready to see my grandma and I packed clothes just incase I go to beach, by myself.

"Later Lilian!" I walked towards the elevator when I felt my phone vibrate.

Don: Still going to grandmas?

Me: yeah, still going to the beach.

he immediately replied, I pushed the garage button on the elevator before texting back.

Don: I don't know if I find someone to go with.

I didn't respond to his text, on the way to my grandma's I had to stop for gas and the girl behind the register recgonized me, she couldn't have been older than 21 anyway she asked where Abel was because she loved him and I said he was back home, since I'm a nice person I facetimed Abel and let her talk to him for a couple minutes. He didn't text me after that, I didn't even see him on facetime so who knows what he was up to except her.

I knocked on my grandmas and she was glad to see me again. She wasn't expecting me but she asked for "the man that was with you." and "other girl" aka Abel and Lilian. We went inside and I convinced her to play chess, I won the first round and lost the second. My mom called and checked up on her I asked my grandma not to mention me I don't want my mom to find out I got in touch with her. Abel decided to call me so I stepped outside to talk while my grandma talks to my mom.

"Hey what's going on" I say as I close the wood door and screen to sit on the porch

"Just workin, you at home?"

"No actually I'm actually with my grandma but I'm going to leave right now when she's off the phone. Might go to beach."

"What beach? Maybe you and Lilian can have a bonfire."

"Silver Strand state beach, hm good idea I'll go home and ask her. I'll talk to you later Imma go say bye then go home."

"Okay bye."

I hung up and walked back in to the house my grandma was exchanging goodbyes.

"Hey grandma I gotta go sorry." I said after her call.

"No worries I got invited out to lunch anyway."

"Well would you look at Ms. Popular."

"Baby I've always been popular" she winked and we laughed. She walked me out and I drove away. There was some traffic on the way home and during the traffic I received a E-mail that I would move to in 1-2 weeks. When I got home Lilian wasn't home, who knows where the hell she was. I went to my room and there was luggage by door, I walked in my room and smiled.

"ABEL!" he stood up from the bed and I jumped on him, knocking us down on the bed.

"Someone actually missed a nigga." he chuckled

I sat on him while he was still laying down and asked why he was here.

"Had a meeting for my clothing line and decided I'd suprise my babe." he grabbed my waist.

"How did you get in?"

"Lilian. She left a while ago with someone."

"Hygh isn't here?"

"Nah he'll come tomorrow, but she doesn't know so shush." he smacked my butt letting me know to get up.

He grabbed his luggage from infront of my door and unpacked. As he was unpacking Don texted me again. How am I gonna have him to stop talking to me?
