Chapter 49

Abel POV

What the fuck did she say? Baby? Lost? Baby as in my sperm and her egg? Fucking shit I was gonna be a dad? It wasn't mine I pull out every time unless I know she's on birth control it must be that other nigga she slept with. But damn her words keeps lingering in my mind. She's not answering my calls anymore and completely turned off her phone which caused me to get pissed and to throw my phone at the TV which broke. I wish I knew how to bite my tongue.

Adira POV

"What the fuck do you mean "baby" and who the hell did you sleep with" La Mar questioned me

"I mean I had a baby then lost it...simple, and I slept with this guy I met in San Diego but that was a one-time thing. Did you know about him sleeping around? Be a hundred with me I don't wanna hear about it later!"

He sighed then finally spoke "yeah I knew and actually tried to stop him but when he's off the drugs or drunk from the alcohol there's no stopping him, he practically told me that what you know won't hurt you." he said all in one breath.

My eyes started to water, a tear streamed down my face when I blinked. I grabbed my mac-book from my purse and ignored my imessages from Abel.

"what are you doing?"

"looking for the next flight to New York or San Diego I don't care right now I just need to leave Toronto!"

Just as he was going to say something else there was a knock at the door. I started to pack my things just in case it was Abel.

"Yeah who is it?" he said loud enough so whoever was on the other side of the door can hear him.

"Abel. Adira I know you're in there my car is in the driveway."

Shit. I'm such a dumb ass.

"I'm gonna lock myself in the guest room," I told La Mar before running up the stairs to the room and locking the door.

Abel POV

"c'mon La Mar open up I don't wanna get my keys out," I begged until he opened the door.

"I don't appreciate the drama happening at my house abe." I pushed my way past him and looked for Adira but she wasn't around.

"Where's is she?" I looked around some more.

"she left. I dropped her off at the airport when she first got here bro," he said while I was looking everywhere not even paying attention to him.

"Where the hell she fucking go?" I finally looked at him

"I don't know she just booked the first flight she found..... see what happens when you be sleeping around like a hoe while your girl was waiting for your ungrateful ass! your right she would have been better off with me!"

"Fuck you nigga you've always been a fucking bad ass liar where the fuck is she?!"

"I'm not telling you, you fucking don't deserve her or that baby!"

"That baby wasn't even mine it was that other niggas."

"how do you even know that?!"

"I JUST FUCKING KNOW NOW MOVE!" I pushed him out of the way and checked his room, bathrooms, and guestrooms, one was locked and I started banging on the door. "Adira open up just talk to me you need me and I need you." I tried opening the door but it wasn't budging.

"Abe come one man just leave her alone."

"no! adira!" I banged some more.

She finally came out.

"baby! listen-" I felt a sting across my face she had slapped me and pushed her way past me to La Mar.

"No, you've said enough Abel." after she said that she looked a little sick then ran to the nearest bathroom to puke her brains out and I followed her.

"you okay baby? I though you lost the baby?"

"I'm fine and you didn't care about MY baby so why does it matter now?" 'she got up from the floor and cleaned her mouth.

"because it wasn't my kid it was that other niggas you fucking slept with!" I raised my voice 

She rolled her eyes and said "wow you really don't remember maybe you should handle your drinking problem." she walked out to the living room where La Mar was after that.

"hey I found a flight that leaves at 6 am, can you still drop me off?"

"yeah where his keys? let's go-"

"I can take you, babe. We can talk on the way there." I rudely interrupted La Mar's sentence, she gave me a dirty stare.

"no you just go home and call up one of your one night stands wouldn't want you to get blue balls, Abel."

"Why won't you let me be sorry for once?"

"C'mon La Mar." she motioned for them to go outside and started transferring her luggage, La Mar was helping her out. 

"So you just gonna run away from me  after I fucking screw up and won't let me talk to you?"

She ignored me as there were a couple tears streaming down her face, she opened the passenger door  and right before she was gonna get in the car I grabbed her hand and she turned around I saw the red in her puffy eyes, I pulled her in for what might be our last hug because she hates me at the moment and she surprisingly accepted my hug I put her head to my chest and kissed the top of her head. When she backed away from my hug I grabbed her again and she turned around once more.

"baby.........Ewodishalehu" (I love you)

"I don't speak amharic Abel maybe one of the Hadid's do." she got in the car after that, she and La Mar started driving off while I'm still in his driveway at 5:15 am.

I put both hands on my head in frustration. I always fuck shit up, I knew I should have ended thing at the hospital then none of this fucking drama would be happening. My girlfriend hates me and my best friend thinks I'm an asshole and pig. They always told me "don't fall in love", I wish I knew how to bite my tongue.  

Adira POV

Yes, it breaks my heart to leave him but at the moment I question his love for me and I have every right to be he's been sleeping around with who knows how many girls.

"you good?" La Mar broke my thinking process, he was watching the road carefully. 

"I'm fine........Just thinking"

"Well stop thinking it'll make it worse."

"How am I supposed to stop? It literally just happened...." I sighed.

"By listening to music." he turned on the radio and the chorus of the 'The hills' was on and I just made a sarcastic laugh.

"For a moment I forgot Abel was The Weeknd and is this BIG pop icon."

Lammy let me put my music on and I put Kehlani's newest album "You should be here" I love it so much! Lammy was actually getting into it and turned it up.

"Who is this?" he was boppin' his bald head.

"Kehlani,"

"Pull up a pic of her" I googled her and showed him.

"GODDAMN," he gave me his phone and said to search her Instagram. I laughed the fact he trynna gets with her like he got a chance amuses me.

I got to the airport and hugged La Mar goodbye he offered to wait for my flight with me but I told him to make sure Abel doesn't end up back in the hospital. Next stop California.
