Chapter 37

Two Days Later, Abel POV

Adira's first day back was today, yesterday was different for her because we were both fucked the hell up from the night before usually it's just me; all I remember is meeting M.A, her getting up and prob whispering something sexual to Adira, then of course I remember the drunk sex, briefly. I guess you can say we were 'Drunk in Love'. I had to go back to Toronto today because I wanted to finish this album, it's almost summer (let's pretend it's like May, beginning of book took place in like March....use your imagination.) and I want it done, I plan on going to a couple award shows but not all of them. XO gonna hate it but I still hate going up there got me feeling nervous and shit, pressuring me to do a speech; I'd rather just pick up the award later. My phone buzzed, I checked who it was.

Cash: You coming back today?

Me: Yeah, on plane rn see ya in a few....

I decided to text Adira before I was really on the plane, Freddy was still making his way to the plane.

Me: Now that we are on same time zone, you can call me whenever without thinking....tell me later about today if I'm not too busy I'll try to answer bouta hop on plane

5 pm

I've been at studio for a while, we grindin this shit. Pop music is hard as fuck I don't know how others do it. Good thing Doc is here...I'd be so lost without him, he the OG. We are actually on the second to last song maybe tonight or tomorrow will be the last day but I'm never free unless I make myself free, which I do alot Cash and Sal get pissed but eh they get payed right? Whatever they get over it at some point.

I walked out of the booth and asked everyone if they wanted something from the Chinese place down the street, of course Cash was first one to say something

"Yeah good can you get me a-" he started.

"How about you come with me because you order too damn much."
"True true....anybody else want anything?" He said

Everyone else said what they wanted and we took off down the street walking....Cash needs some exercise in his life he got mad but whatever he'll gain it back with the food he abouta eat. While we was in line waiting to order Adira finally texted me.

Adira: What if I got a piercing?

Me: Where? 😏

Adira: Where do you want it? My nose?

Me: Somewhere where only I can see it 🔞

Adira:.....Oh you want THAT piercing! Um what about a belly one?

Me: How about a little bit higher...

I locked my phone to order with Cash after we ordered I went back on my phone to text her again.

Adira: I'm not getting nipple piercings nor vaginal....you gonna have to settle for belly.

Me: Damn.

12 am- Abel's loft

I just got back to crib, we pulled through and finished the album. Doc and Sal suggested I released it like mid to end of August so there can be a fall tour. Adira went to bed at like 10 because she has to work again tomorrow damn I miss her not working it was way easier to talk to her and to think it's only her first day back. I ain't got much to do really, everyone is out fucking their hoes and I'm just here....sitting on my couch watching TV. I turned off the cable box and turned on the PS4, it was time to kick someone's ass I texted hygh to see if he wanted to join but he didn't answer so I went solo on Mortal Kombat X; This baby just came out last month and it's the shit! A blunt and some henny would be perfect right now. I got up from the couch to my room and it turns out I have no more weed "DAMMIT" I yelled. I looked for my fucking phone to text hawk.

Me: Yo when you getting a new batch?

Hawk: of what exactly...be descriptive nigga

Me: Weed dumbass

Hawk: you the fuckin dumbass...dumbass nd I get it in a couple days why? u out? I can get it tm if needed

Me: I was gonna smoke rn but I can wait till tm just hmu when u got it.

Hawk: ight.

Just as I was walking to where I keep my liquor my phone buzzed again I thought it was hawk again but it wasn't

Noami: hey hun are you in toronto?

Me: always....most of the time why?

Noami: Come on over to 1OAK

Me: like rn rn?

Noami: uh yeah kinda
