Adira POV

The moment I walked in the house I felt sick and ran to the bathroom, as if I didn't have enough on my mind!

"You good dira?" Lilian asked walking into the bathroom.

I sniffled and wiped my mouth "yeah just sick."

"Sick and crying?"

"I'm fine."

"Adira W-"

"I said I'm fine!" I got up and went to my room. There was a couple knocks on my door but ignored them.

"Adira....open up tell me what's wrong." she continued knocking.

"I'm fine like I said before."

She kept knocking but I ignored it until she stopped. I grabbed my beats and looked for rescue you off YouTube. I was in the middle of the song and my phone started ringing again I silenced it with out even checking who it was it kept ringing and ringing, ruining my music I gave up and answered without checking who it was I'm guessing it was Abel, Lilian, or Jae.

"Hello!" I answered the phone with the sound of irritation in my voice.

"Open the door"......"what the fuck happened now"

It was a three way call with Lilian and Abel.

"I'm fine." I said then hanging up.

I need time to process all of this. I don't know exactly what I need to process, the fact that my dad had a stroke and my mom was still with him or the fact Abel drinks and does drugs like my dad and that he could end up like him.

My phone rang again. I answered it again.

"Hello?"

"You good.....heard you threw up?", it was Abel.

"I'm fine like I said before, I just kinda got anxiety I guess....have you been drinking?"

"Anxiety from what?

"Nothing....I'm fine"

"Bullshit....I'll take a plane there be there shortly.", he hung up

The moment he hung up I felt sick again I had to run to bathroom to vomit....I think I ate something bad or maybe I'm getting the stomach flu. After I threw up multiple times I went back to my bed to sleep........

..........I felt buttrubbing on my butt, I opened my eyes and saw pineapple hair.

"Hey."

"Hi....what are you doing here?" I said rubbing my eyes.

"Do you not remember our conversation?"

"Sorry I forgot....didn't I lock the door when I came back in from the bathroom?"

"The door was unlocked babe."

I nodded, when I looked away I felt my mouth getting watery so I rushed to the bathroom and Abel followed me concerned.

"What the fuck? I think you should go to doctor's."

"I'm fine Abel....just have the stomach flu or something."

"Stubborn ass.", he walked back to the room.

I was there for a good five minutes. I came back to the room and Abel was sitting at the end of the bed on his phone.

"Are you going back to bed?"

"Why"

"So I can get comfortable and lay with you."

"Help yourself.", I layed in my warm covers and I felt Abel jump on my bed. "Don't break my bed!" I said playfully.

"I'll by you a new one."

Abel held onto me, I know it's only been a couple day's but I missed this man like crazy. As soon as I comfortable my phone vibrated I reached for it from the top of the dresser.

Jae: wanna go to a coffee shop tm to catch up again...like a redo

Me: uh yeah sure just tell me where....mind if I bring my bf?

Jae: sure. Ill text u tm

I put my phone down again on the dresser.

"Who the fuck is Jae?"

"My cousin whom you will meet tomorrow."

"I thought you didn't talk to your family?"

I sighed and turned myself towards him.

"I don't wanna talk about this right now....I just want you to hold me."

He made a understanding face and got a good grip on my body, I closed my eyes but I felt that watery mouth feeling again; I got out of Abel's arms and made my way to the bathroom for the thousandth time today.

"I don't think you have the flu.", Lilian popped up in the door way.

"What do you mean? Maybe I ate something bad if it's not that."

She made a sassy face and walked away, that was kinda weird. I cleaned myself up and brushed my teeth then went back to my bed.

"Are you sure your okay? After lunch we are going to urgent care tomorrow unless you get worse." Abel told me while getting a grip again.

"I'm fine Abel." I tried to assure him

"Whatever let's just go to sleep the rest of the day."

That had been the best plan I heard all day. Maybe my mind will be sorted out when I wake up.
