"he kissed you?" she had exclaimed loud enough for the whole world to hear.

"this is why i always snapchat you stuff like this for three seconds." i roll my eyes. she's always so fucking loud and if the snapchat was longer she wouldn't screen shot it.

"why'd he kiss you?"

"because 'he wanted to'." i put air quotations around his words to prove my point. "he's just trying to make me fall for him again so he can use me as a little fuck toy again."

"what all did he say last night?"

"he started saying something like that wasn't the actual reason he broke up with me for and he started to assume za and khalil like me." i shrug. "that's literally all that happened before khalil told justin to leave."

avery looked up at me. "justin's right, i think. even maejor said he peeped it."

"peeped what?"

"za might have a crush on you." she says while putting her small hooped earrings in. "i don't know about khalil though."

"za is like my overprotective big brother." i shake my head. "he has a girlfriend."

"none of us has met her. or have seen her before." avery chuckles. "za's girlfriend is like tommy's job from martin. he says he has one but never told anyone what is it."

i started laughing at that because it was hella true. when she finished putting light makeup on and her earrings, we went into my bedroom to change but za and maejor were sitting on my bed laughing. "what's going on?" i ask.

"justin and hailey were seen leaving the airport and hailey is obviously getting on justin's nerves." maejor shows is the picture.

"you ever hear when a bug flies past your ear? that shits annoying." i start laughing at za's comment. everyone keeps comparing hailey to a bug.

"where are you two going?" maejor had changed the subject quickly.

"to go get our rental car then we're going to eat breakfast." avery replies, stripping from her clothes. "our trip to new york is in like three days."

as i was getting undressed, i peeped za watching me which was uncomfortable so i hurried and put my jeans and shirt on. "there's a tag on the back of your pants." za had pointed to the waistband of my pants.

"oh, thanks." i mumble, looking over at avery and maejor who were smirking. avery put up a heart, maejor using his fingers to symbolize me and za fucking. "you two are dickheads."

they start laughing, za oblivious to what was happening. "let's go." i roll my eyes, grabbing my phone.

justin: can we facetime

audrey: for what

justin: i need to talk to you and za won't let me, neither will khalil and ryan

audrey: im busy rn but you can text me what you need to talk about

justin: it's too much to type

audrey: you can call me

justin: i want to see your face ok

justin: but i still need to talk to you

audrey: god you irk my soul

justin: is that a yes?

audrey: later

avery was reading the messages over my shoulder, then hand me her apple headphones. "call him and pretend to put these in. i want to hear what he has to say."

so when i did, hailey's face popped up on the screen. "what?" she squints. "and why is there heart emojis by your name?"

"ask your boyfriend." i chuckle.

"justin definitely still fucking likes you." avery had mumbled as she pulled off in the car.

"then why'd he do what he did?" i mute myself so hailey didn't hear.

"maybe he was telling the truth about that's not the reason he broke up with you. he kissed you, told you he wanted to see your face, not to mention he refused to take no as answer about that necklace." avery rambled. "the heart emojis too, something little means so much."

avery had a point which started to make my head spin. so i hang up on hailey who was trying to find justin and gave avery her headphones back. "i know you love him, or loved him but you can't go running back to him after what he's done. regardless if he is lying still about why you two broke up."

"i wasn't going to." i mumble.
