rolling my eyes, i put my phone into my pocket and walked upstairs where justin is. all of us were downstairs and he was upstairs packing his things back up for canada when the argument started.

when i walked into my bedroom, i saw justin sitting on the floor, the necklace he gave me a while ago dangling from his hand. "are you okay?" i ask, bending down.

"no." he sighs. "i knew ryan was mad at me for doing the stupid shit i've done but i didn't think he was that mad. but he's right, i-"

i put my hand over justin's mouth, hitting in front of him. i crossed my legs, then grabbed his hands. "he's not just mad at you, he's mad at the situation. he doesn't like being in a group of problematic ass people and neither do i but its what comes along with you being you. i don't care about the drama that comes along, i care about you."

"but ryan's my best friend, i-"

"he's your best friend." i say. "me and avery argued at prom and that night we met up in front of my house eating ice cream and talking shit on our shitty ass dates that caused us to argue. best friends argue over anything and everything but regardless you're still best friend. he's like your brother, avery's like my sister."

justin just sits there. "are you sure you're not mad about us breaking up, you forgave me so easily and everyone i-"

"justin." i cut him off for the third time. "i don't care if nobody else forgave you. i did, and if you happen to break my heart again it's on me."

"i won't. i never will." he says quickly. "i love you."

"i love you too, now get down there and talk to ryan before he snaps someone's head off." i chuckle. "i'll put the rest of your things away."
