I had to add this. Seriously. You have to read this. And tell me if you want more like this in the future because I've read some mind blowing works.

'I'm so late, I'm so late!' you muttered to yourself while you quickly brushed your teeth and put on some make-up.
'Damn it,' you cursed softly. 'Where are my shoes?'
You pulled the curlers you had put in the other night out of your hair and let your fingers go through the curls to loosen them a bit.
'I thought you had an audition at ten,' you roommate said, walking out of her room, yawning. She checked her watch and sighed. 'It's five to ten, [Name]. You're going to be late.'
'I know, I know!' you cried out, still looking for your shoes.
'What are you looking for?'
'My black heels. I can't find them anywhere.'
'By the door...' your roommate said, pointing at the front door. 'Where you left them last night when you came back from that other audition you were late for, remember. You should really start using your phone as your alarm clock.'
You ran over to the shoes, looking at your roommate gratefully. 'I'll be back before lunch!' you yelled, before you made your way out of the apartment building.
'Don't forget your bag!' she yelled back, running after you with your large, black purse.
You pulled it from her hands and ran down the hallway. 'I owe you one!' you said, running down the stairs, towards the exit. You quickly made your way to the nearest subway and took the first train towards the center of New York.
It was your second audition this week and you would be late, again. You were trying for half a year to break through in the movie business, with no luck so far.
In high school you had always loved drama class. The teacher had thought you had a natural talent for it, but somehow you had ended up studying Law and getting you degree. After working at one of the big law firms for about a year you had felt miserable and had decided to take a break from it to pursue your dream: acting.
It had been a lot harder to get acting jobs than you had anticipated. You started to wonder if it wouldn't be easier and wiser to just give up your dream and start being a lawyer again.
When you were at the right station, you rushed outside and looked at the address you had scribbled on your arm at home. You searched for the right street and ran inside the big building.
Several women were waiting in a room, trying to memorize their lines. In the back of the room a man sat behind a table, appointing all the girls that came to audition for a part in the new Chris Evans movie to the right audition or waiting room.
'Excuse me, sir?' you walked up to him when he was done talking to a woman who also seemed part of the crew. 'My name is [Name] [Last name] and I came to audition today for...'
'You're late,' the man said. 'You missed your chance.'
'But sir, please! I really think this part is perfect for me.'
'Join the club,' he said, pointing at all the girls in the waiting room behind you.
'I beg you,' you pleaded. 'I really need to audition. This means so much to me.'
The man sighed. 'Fine. I'll add you to the bottom of the list. If there is any time left before six o'clock, or one of the other girls doesn't show up, you can still audition.'
'Thank you, thank you, thank you!' you cried out.
'Don't get too excited, miss [Last Name]. I can't promise anything and you'll have to wait here the whole day.'
