KLAUS' P.O.V

"I cannot believe you disposed those vampires without me. You know how I love to set things on fire." Rebekah complained to me as she turned away from the window.

"Was I supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot?" I asked her sarcastically as my lips slightly lifted forming a smirk. "Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless pregnant girl who's carrying my child." I carried on as I leaned on a wall.

"Oh, I am so moved by your newfound sense of fatherly duty towards the werewolf carrying your hybrid bun in her oven." Rebekah said then we heard a quiet laugh from the room next door and in walked Amelia looking beautiful as ever. Every time, she enters the room I'm mesmerised by her beauty again and again. One part of me wishes to have her in my arms, the other to rip her head off for leaving me.

"You know, you two are so similar is almost unbelievable." She smirked towards us. She said as she was about to walk away but I grabbed her arm.

''And where is it that you've been?" I asked her politely as she looked up at me with her big blue eyes.

"I don't think that's any of your business, Nik. You handle this your way and I'll handle it mine since you don't care if we leave or not. Carry on doing what you was doing, and I'll carry on with what I was doing. Doesn't that sound fair?" She replied then pulled her arm out of my grip and joined Rebekah in the room, before I even got to answer her. Her words left me unease.

"This girl is something else." Rebekah said as she walked towards me and Hayley walked into the room.

"The werewolf would like to know what the plan is."

"Well that depends what plan you mean, love. My plan for global domination or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world. Or maybe Amelia's plan to run away from me using her sneaky ways." I said teasing both of them as Rebekah quickly grabbed a pencil and threw it in my direction which I easily caught. At the same time, in Amelia's hand appeared a knife which she threw at me and it stabbed the wall right by my face not even an inch away from my ear. She smirked and shrugged her shoulders as if she was completely innocent.

"The plan to rescue Elijah, you know the good brother, the one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back." Hayley got angrier,

"Calm down, wolf. I'm sure stress is not good in your... well, condition. And I believe it was in the front if we're really being specific about it." Amelia commented as she leaned her back against the wall opposite me. I smiled as she spoke what was running in my mind.

"You three said you would get him back. So, is there a plan, or what?" Hayley asked, I looked to Rebekah and Amelia.

" Ok." I said as I made my way to the other room and was followed by them. "Well, firstly Marcel isn't my mortal enemy." I sat down in the chair by a desk.

"He's my friend, albeit one. Who is unaware that I am trying to sabotage his hold over the supernatural community of the French quarter but a friend nonetheless." I put my feet up on the desk and flicked the pencil that Rebekah previously threw at me in between my fingers.

"And secondly, I daggered Elijah in order to gain Marcel's trust. If I had known he would place my brother in the hands of a particularly nasty teenage witch, I certainly would have weighed my options a bit differently. And thirdly, sister, please." I said as I looked towards Amelia who looked different, like she wasn't telling me something, I just didn't know what.

"And thirdly, the plan as you demanded is for Niklaus to simply ask Marcel for Elijah back." Rebekah explained and Amelia started to chuckle quietly.
