"Can I advise you against doing whatever you're about to do?"Federico's voiced his opinion, as always without a filter. He ran after Amelia as she sped through the streets. The quarter seemed rather empty, which was suspicious in itself.
"Amelia, Klaus will know you're here if you do this. You don't even know where she is, stop this!" He insisted, and colour him surprised it seemed to have worked because Amelia stopped.
When she turned to face him however, he knew he messed up. "Fede, who are you talking to?" Her voice was too calm for the current circumstances.
"What do you mean? I'm talking to you"
"And who am I?"
"Amelia Moretti"
She walked up to him, bringing her face close to his. She was pissed, at the witches, at Klaus, at the situation and most important of all (to Federico) pissed off at him. When her eyes turned that dark shade of black that you couldn't see her irises, Federico took a hesitant step back.
"Do yourself a favour and don't forget that ever again."
Amelia turned back towards the street and took a deep breath. "If I can't find a crying wolf in a town like this, It's a scandal to my name." She focused her aura and whispered some ancient Latin.
Federico looked around on guard. Paranoia wasn't his usual trait but in a town full of witches, werewolves and vampires trying to kill each other you can't fault him. He returned his gaze to the beauty by his side, at the same time her eyes turned to him. "Let's go."
"You know, this isn't like you. You never act without planning ten steps ahead and a grand finale."
"Fede, shut up." He saluted to her and remained quiet. Amelia reached her hand out to him and he took it without another comment. She teleported them to outside of Father Kieran's church.
"Great, of course it's a church." Federico shut up again when Amelia glared at him for what seemed like the thousandth time today. The doors burst open as she walked up to them. They stormed into the church and Federico performed a cross on himself as he crossed the threshold, ironically of course since he's the furthest thing from a worshipper.
"Can you be any more petty?" Amelia asked him, the only reply she got was a smirk. Oh, now he shuts up.
She turned her gaze to the alter and her steps stopped. "Well that's an unpleasant sight." Federico looked to where she was looking and sighed.
"People used to be creative when they tried to kill you. What happened?" They made their way to Hayley's corpse. As they got closer Amelia inspected the scene, blood was on the table and the steps to the alter. " I just came back from a town full of crazy supernaturals. Looks like I'm stuck in a loop."
To the left, there was blood on the wall and ever so small sense of magic remained in the area. She smelt Hayley's blood clearly, but there was also a faint scent of another.
"They didn't kill her to kill me, they couldn't have been so stupid to think that a wolf like her would be enough for me to die. Though I think death by childbirth is a new one." Amelia examined Hayley's body, clear signs of stress and a fight were present on her body. She clearly fought back.
When Amelia looked to her legs, her moves faltered slightly. Hayley gave birth, when she looked around there was no sign of the babe. Of course that would have been too easy, she looked to the wall to her left. She knew, she knew Klaus was here, forced to watch his child be born and ripped away from its parent's arms.
