Amelia walked into the living area of the sanctuary, where Klaus and Elijah were both reading. As she entered further into the room, she spotted a dead girl's body on the coffee table in between them. She looked from one brother to the other expecting an explanation, but both were to intrigued in reading.

Rebekah also entered the room, "So this is the first thing you do when we're back together as family. Some vampire book club." Amelia oblivious to the conversation walked past Elijah over to the bookcase, him following her every move with his eyes.

"Reading edifies the mind, sister. Isn't that right, Elijah?" Klaus spoke not bothering to lift his head from the book. Elijah removed his gaze from Amelia and his book, raised his head to look at his siblings.

"Yes, that's quite right Niklaus."

"And what is this business?" Amelia asked meanwhile pointing towards the dead girl on the table and opening a book.

"This is a peace offering." Elijah explained

"I presumed after so much time desiccating in a coffin, that my big brother might be a bit peckish." Klaus explained further.

"So, I explained to my little brother that forgiveness cannot be bought. I'd simply prefer to see a change in behaviour that indicates contrition and personal growth," Elijah refined to his sister. "Not this... nonsense." He continued as he pointed at the table.

"I couldn't very well let her go to waste, could I?" Klaus smirked at Elijah then recurred his gaze to Amelia who looked at him from the corner of her eye with a slightly raised brow.

"I suggest you fetch the rubbish bin, because she's staining a 200-year-old carpet." Amelia spoke lightly not having to have to look to know that the white carpet is now blood stained. As Rebekah walked towards the kitchen, Elijah closed his book to look at the damage

"Ah, yes."

Amelia closed her book, her facial expression clearly showed that she was bored. She pushed her body off the chair and walked directly past the two brothers who's gaze was following her as she retired to the kitchen. Elijah shut his book complete and stood up off his chair as he walked, he placed the book on the table behind the sofa that Niklaus was sat on.

Amelia walked into the kitchen to see Hayley looking into the fridge. "Good morning, wolf girl." Amelia leaned on the counter in front of her as Hayley peeked her head from the fridge door.

"Hey." Hayley replied before looking back into the fridge.

"Good morning," A voice behind Amelia spoke. She turned her head to be greeted by the man that has a suit for every occasion.

"Morning." Amelia replied lightly barely a whisper before looking back to Hayley. "You looking for something in there?"

Rebekah walked in through the back door as Hayley spoke. "I know I'm the only one in this house who actually drinks milk, but would it kill for any of you to make sure it's on the grocery list?"

"Speaking of add bleach." Rebekah added, as Amelia lightly laughed of Hayley's comment.

"I mean were all technically already dead so... Elijah pass me a bowl, would you?" Amelia asked him as he was grabbing the bowl she turned to Hayley. "Cereal, I presume?"
Hayley simply nodded

Amelia turned back around not expecting Elijah to be so close to her as he was about to place the bowl on the counter. "Here." He simply said, she looked from his eyes to his lips before referring her gaze to the bowl in his hands.
