The feeling was indescribable, it was like that was the thing that kept her heart from being complete. It was like just for that moment she felt whole, like her old self. However, the realisation of her actions came soon to crush that feeling. The feeling she selfishly wanted to feel again, but her conscious was telling her not to. If she even had one, after 2,000 years.
Her soft fingers slowly left his neck bare and cold. Her warmth disappeared from his skin. Her touch slowly dissolved as she stood back. His eyes opened to see her gone, vanished.
He was starting to believe it was just a hallucination but his old glass that she drank from was imprinted on the edge by her lipstick. It was a reminder that it was real.
A blonde figure soon barged passed the door, disappointedly it was his sister and not the love of his long supernatural life
"Rebekah."
"Nik."
"I thought you was leaving us." He was by the window looking out, as she stood behind him.
"We both know this family can barely function without me. Where are Elijah and Hayley?" She asked him as he slowly turned around to face her.
"I left them in the Bayou." He replied.
"Why?" She asked sitting down on the sofa.
"Elijah and I, had a bit of a row." He laughed walking to the other sofa in front of Rebekah. "Hayley has conspired to turn him against me, and you know our brother never was one to resist a pretty face. So, one thing led to another, and I bit him, left them both stranded in the swamp."
Rebekah didn't hide the hurt look on her face. "Daggering, biting, deserting. Does your wickedness ever end? How could she ever love you?" She mumbled the last part,
"My wickedness is self-preservation, and I wouldn't have to go to such lengths were I not beset on all sides by incompetence and treachery. Now that Elijah abandoned me, I'll be needing you in my plot against Marcel." Klaus stated unknowingly that Rebekah was plotting against him with Marcel. "Don't expect to be leaving town anytime soon."
"Why should I help you after what you did to Elijah?" There was a silent moment where Klaus finished pouring himself another drink and turned to Rebekah.
"You're my family. Besides who better to spy on Marcel than the girl he so clearly loves? You can tell me all his secrets, like how did he find us here, huh? Any idea about that, little sister?" He sat on the table in front of her, implying she knew more than she was telling.
"How should I know why Marcel does what he does?" She asked
"You think I don't know about your engineered run-ins all over the quarter? I know you had private chat with him. So just tell me what secrets he's confided to you. Is he plotting against me?" Klaus interrogated her.
She leaned closer to him "My poor brother, so paranoid. Marcel knows nothing. He is not plotting against you. He simply thinks you're in a quarrel, in need of making up." She lied through her teeth.
"Perhaps we will. After all you know I'm capable of forgiving those who disappoint me soon as they've seen the error of their ways and suffered for them. You'd do well to remember that." Klaus said before leaving the room.

"You make a deal with me. You've got to offer me something." Marcel said to Tyler Lockwood, the enemy of Klaus, as they sat in an empty bar with Marcel's inner circle. "I already know about Hayley the werewolf girl. What else you got?"
"What if I told you that werewolf girl is carrying Klaus' child?"
"Amelia would have killed her the second she laid eyes on her." Marcel commented.
