Chapter 23

Maya's pov

The next day I was in Topanga's with Riley and Lucas. I don't know how I'm feeling. My two best friends like him and I do too. Maybe I should just forget about my feelings and move on, but for some reason I can't. My mind won't let me no matter how hard I try.

"Maya, you ok?" Riley asked.

I looked up from the ground and at Riley and Lucas' worried expressions. I smiled.

"I'm fine." I lied.

They nodded slowly and dropped it. I knew Riley and I would be talking about this later.

Farkle walked in and pulled Lucas outside.

"Maya what's wrong!" Riley asked.

"Nothing." I shrugged.

"I know it like Lucas. Logan does too. You stepped back, it's my turn to." Riley said.

"Riley no, you and Logan like him more than me. You guys have more chemistry. Whatever me and Lucas have...is nothing."

"Maya-"

"I have to go home and do chemistry homework. Tell Lucas to meet me at my house." I stood up.

Riley sent me a confused look.

"What?" I asked. "We're partners."

And after that I left.

Riley's pov

I sat in Topanga's then Logan came in.

"We have a problem!" she sat down in her normal spot.

"What's up!" I asked.

"Shawn, is he sabotaging me?" she asked.

"What!? Of course not!" I told her.

"But he told your parents not to adopt me when they were." she said.

"We might have been sisters!?" I jumped up and she nodded.

"Yep."

"The jerk!" I yelled and stormed out.

I was walking up to my apartment but I saw Lucas.

"Hey Lucas." I smiled.

"Hey Riley, have you seen Maya?" he asked.

"Yeah she said to hear over to her house to work on the project." I told him and he nodded.

"Cool."

We stood there awkwardly for a moment.

"I'll see you later." I started walking away.

"Riley." he stopped me.

I turned around and looked at him, waiting for him to finish.

"Never mind." he sighed.

I shrugged and walked off.

Something's up.

What did Farkle say?

Logan's pov

Shawn is sabotaging me.

Zay was right.

I can't believe he would.

I slumped down in my seat then the door opened. I looked up and saw the one and only

Shawn Hunter

"You!" I pointed at him.

"Me!" he said.

"Sabotage!" I yelled.

He looked at me confused.

This is where I finally stand up for what I believe.

A/N: I'm sorry this took forever to get up, I really am.

I'm really busy wth lacrosse and the collabs I'm in, but I'm not giving up on the book. I always update this during school so I feel like I actually did something, but that whole week what chaotic in school so I didn't have time to update.

But anyways, there's a chapter!

Next time you'll find out what Lucas and Farkle talk about and Shawn's reason! Yay?
