Chapter 27

Lucas' pov

"What!?"

I tried to break free of the handcuffs Maya just happened to find.

"I'll kill him!" I threatened.

"Lucas calm down." RIley told me.

"How can I!?" I asked. "He hurt Logan! I would do the same to the person who hurt any of you!"

"Lucas we figured it all out, Logan doesn't want any harm to him." Maya said.

"Too bad!" I snapped and broke the handcuffs.

Maya jumped on my back and RIley grabbed my legs.

"I understand why Logan asked us not to tell you!" Riley said and I stopped.

"What?"

They both let go and stood in front of me.

"She didn't want Texas Lucas, she didn't need him here. She was too scared to tell you so we told her we would." Maya explained.

"Sh-she was scared?" I asked and they nodded.

"Yeah." they both said.

I felt guilt.

I scared Logan, I would never want to do that. But I did do that and I couldn't believe it.

Logan's pov

"Shawn!" I yelled and waved my hand in front of his face.

I rolled my eyes and plopped down on the couch next to him. I turned to Mr. and Mrs. Matthews.

"He's been like this since I told him."

Topanga chuckled, "Cory,"

Mr. Matthews groaned and walked over.

"Shawn wanna go skiing?" he asked.

"No skiing!" Shawn quickly jumped up.

"Wow, that worked." I smiled.

"You actually want me to adopt you?" Shawn turned to me.

I stood up and nodded, "Yeah, I do." I smiled.

He hugged me and I, for once, hugged back.

"I'll go get the papers now!" Shawn smiled and left.

"Aren't you forgetting something!?" I asked.

"Three...two...one." Mrs. Matthews said and Shawn came back in.

"Logan!" he said.

I laughed and followed him out.

"Sorry, but you can't adopt her."

"What!?" Shawn and I yelled.

"I have all the papers and money for it though!" Shawn argued.

"This is just because you hate me!" I glared at her.

"Maybe." Ms. Zimmer shrugged. "But also you're unable to. In fact, I have to charge you. I might just call the cops."

"What!? Why!?" Shawn asked.

"Technically Logan is under my custody and you and a few other people stole her and without permission. That's also known as kidnapping."

"Bu-"

"No buts!" she screamed and I jumped back.

Shawn protectively put me behind him and glared at Ms. Zimmer.

"Be prepared for court." she spat.

Shawn and I walked out.

"Shawn?" I asked worried.

"It;s gonna be ok." he sent me a reassuring smiled.

"Bu-"

"Trust me Logan," he looked down at me, "they can't hurt you anymore. I refuse to let that happen."

"Thank you." I sent him a small smile and he smiled back.

Can Shawn pull this off?

And what if he doesn't?

If he can't, I know it's going to be living hell for the rest of my life.

A/N: That's right! I'm back to writing solo books!

So, my neck and shoulders are A LOT better, but still not totally healed. But I can now write chapters and I am super pumped!

So there was that. Can Shawn adopt Logan?

And will Lucas turn into Texas Lucas on Charlie?
