Be Careful What You Wish For.

Still Michael's P.O.V.

Just sleeping.
I repeated to myself internally.

I lowered myself, pushing my body down the bed until I was propped up on my elbows, then let myself relax as I laid down properly on my back, pulling the covers up under my chin.

"Don't start hogging the quilt!" She mumbled.

I chuckled, "I'm not!"

She turned on her side to look at me, I twisted my head in her direction. I felt her hand wander up and settle on my bicep.

"Mike. Relax!" She pleaded.

It appeared I'd not noticed how tense I really was!

"I-I'm nervous..." I finally admitted.
She leaned up on her elbow to look at me better.

I watched closely as her hand rose up and rested tenderly on my cheek.

"I know, and to be honest, so am I. I was just putting on a brave face for you, but, if we're both as nervous as each other it can help us both right?" She whispered softly.

I instantly felt a lot calmer, knowing she wasn't as confident as she portrayed lead me to think that there was a certainty that nothing was about to happen, I immediately relaxed and smiled at her. She smiled back and laid back down. I turned onto my side so that I could look at her straight on, "I'm very grateful of you, you know that right? I love this, the whole...us thing...our...relationship, I love it. I never once thought that I'd find someone who would take me...for me. You've proven me very wrong!" I gushed, I had now idea where the words came from...they just...rolled from my mouth, I had no control!

She smiled cutely, "You really mean that?"

I nodded my head...of course I meant it.

She lunged her body forward, embracing me in a lovingly tight hug, I obviously hugged back.

When we parted we both rolled onto our backs.

"This is torture you know" I giggled.

"What is? Sharing a bed?" She asked looking amused.

"No no! I'm getting used to that" I laughed.

"Then what is it?!" She asked.

"The whole pyjama thing...I usually sleep naked..."
