Michael's P.O.V.

I watched as Grace waved at the fans shyly, her other hand squeezing tightly around mine, I could tell she was scared, naturally.

I smiled at her, I desperately wanted to try and protect her privacy, her dignity and her identity, but in the back of my mind was a thought I wanted to ignore but I knew I never could. People were going to find out who she is, she's going to have the press after her, she was going to have articles and stories written about her, I didn't want that, I wanted to preserve her innocence, her way of life.

But if she is choosing to be with me, I know fame will creep among her, people will know her name, know her face in the street, take her pictures, take away her privacy...and because of me, for introducing her into my lifestyle.

I had a sudden change of heart. I waved once more at the fans before running to the awaiting limo, pulling Grace along behind me, we piled in, me first then her, Ray hurriedly closed the door behind us and ran around into the drivers seat before driving away, the fans we're let loose and soon they were banging on the limo windows, screaming and shouting, camera flashes pierced through the blacked out windows but soon we were on the road.

"What the hell was that about Michael?! That was dangerous for you and Grace!" Bill snapped.

I knew that now and regretted my decision.

"I-I don't know...I shouldn't have done that..." I whispered sadly.
