Michael's P.O.V.

I truly felt terrible about everything that happened back at Liza's. I feel as though in some way, I have ruptured the trust that Grace had for me.

Although everything seems to be forgiven, I still have the guilt looming over me. But, then again, I pushed her away, I didn't let it happen.

I felt so overwhelmed...this has never happened to me before!

I was sure to make it up to her, for good.

I shuffled over to her even closer, stooping so that I could whisper in her ear, "Are you hungry?"

She turned her head to me, giving me one of the sweetest smiles on the face of the earth, "Extremely." She whispered back.

I grinned at her, "Oh. Oh good..." I answered back with a raised eyebrow movement.
"Listen, I am really sorry for what happened, I know I've said sorry before, but I'll keep saying it until I don't feel this cloud of guilt, that'll be until the day I die, so I'm sorry, sincerely and utterly sorry." I apologised.

She turned to me, raising a hand and placing a soft palm on my left cheek, "Mikey, I forgive you, you were forgiven at the very first 'sorry' you said. Let's forget about it yeah? I mean, couples have their ups and downs, there problems and there good times, today just happened to be a problem, but it was through no doings of our own, so seriously, stop apologising. We are fine!" She grinned, reaching up and pecking me on the cheek, she reached for my hand, weaving her fingers with mine.

I leaned closer and muttered in her ear with a wild grin, "So umm...you ever had anything from Krispy Kreme's?!"
