Still Grace's P.O.V.
Walking through the deserted Central Park, an occasional chirp of a nocturnal bird and the swoosh of wind bristling through tree branches made everything that little bit more amazing. "Y'know, it's only lately that I've felt genuinely happy." Mike squeezed my hand.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Oh, I don't know, last year, I mean, it was great for my career and stuff, it really took off, but..." his voice trailed off.
"But what?" I pushed.
"Well...I finished the last tour with my brothers, announced I was going solo and...I dunno...I guess being away from my brothers and my family, not being in the studio with them and recording on my own...watching my brothers get married and have kids, I just felt like they were leaving me behind in life, they had families and love and I was alone, no body to confide in...I really felt isolated...it wasn't until I met you that...things started to really look up for me, I'm not lonely anymore because I have you. I'm not jealous of my brothers relationships because...I'm in a relationship with you and that...that's just wonderful, to know that I belong to one specific person, to one heart, and to know that heart is yours, it's quite hard to believe."
We had stopped walking, I found us standing in the middle of the illuminated path, he spoke with honesty, his eyes held a world of trust.
He made me feel special, loved, something I'd never felt before.
"I feel honoured to have you in my heart, in my life, I could spurt a load of stuff but I'd just find myself repeating what you said, you make me feel wanted Mike and to be wanted by you, makes nothing else matter to me."
He blushed and grinned, looking down at his feet, he looked back up to reveal a watery eyed grin.
"Are you crying?!" I smiled.
"Umm..." he couldn't produce speech so shook his head, which allowed a single tear to roll down his cheek.
"Awww! You are crying!" I immediately cuddled him and he hugged me back, he pulled back and wiped his eyes.
"I'm just happy..." he whispered, giggling.
