This is Grace's P.O.V. Things will be more exciting in this chapter, and you get to see how Grace views Luke. You might hate him right now, Grace has been best friends with him (apart from Julie) from when they were kids. For those of you that have missed the crazy antics of The CC, they're back with more in this chapter!

Grace

We had been cramped in the back of a shiny black S.U.V. for hours, and after being seated between Cameron and Luke's murderous look for far too long, I was more than ready to get out. I didn't even know what was making them act this way towards each other. Weren't most cousins supposed to be really good friends?

The whole car trip had been exhausting. Luke's mum decided to stay behind, which was probably for the best. The two other mothers chattered happily in the front seats, while their sons had sat in stony silence, with dry jokes and shameless comments from Joe and Joey. I still found them hilarious.

Even I had started calling them The CC, and it was just so entertaining to watch them attempt to fill the silence. I envied their subtle confidence, always seeming so comfortable in their own skin. It was something I always had wanted, but sadly lacked in.

We had been on the road for hours, yet I still had no idea where we were going. Judging from the view from the car window, we were somewhere in the woods, with trees rushing past me in a blur and the uneven road causing an occasional bump every now and then. When I had asked Dara where she was taking us, she gave a mysterious smile and said, "It's a surprise, honey. You'll see when we get there."

I had to choice but to flop back into my seat and wait for whatever was waiting in store for us. I was pretty sure it was going to be in the wilderness. We had been ordered to pack camping gear as well  as plenty of warm clothes. I had the impression that our activity involved gruelling exercise, and camping in the wilderness for the night.

Both were things I despised strongly. I was definitely not an outdoors type of person.

Finally, the vehicle stopped abruptly at a large clearing. Cameron wasted no time and immediately hopped out, with everybody following suit. He sniffed the air, probably something all werewolves did, and a look of bewilderment crossed his face.

"I've been here before. I used to play here as a kid. Why did you bring us here?" Cameron asked, turning his head towards where his mother was. Only she wasn't there. Both Cameron and Lucas's mums were still seated inside the Jeep. The sound of engine revving filled our ears. Dara waved brightly, one hand on the steering wheel.

"We've decided that we deserve a break, and that you all need some bonding time together. Since Cameron recognises this place, he can lead you back to the house. If you can work well together. If you can't, then it's camping in the cold, dark forest with worms and god knows what other small creatures that will be wriggling around on the floor." She gave a cheerful grin. "Well, we're off! See you in hopefully the next day!' she called as the Jeep screeched away.

Before we could protest, they had vanished, with only the dust swirling in our midst. The expressions on everybody's faces would've been priceless, if not for the fact that I probably mirrored them. We were now stranded by ourselves, and we now had to find our way back with no navigation devices whatsoever!

"So, what do we do now?" Luke asked. We all turned to stare at Cameron, who was naturally the leader of this group. He smirked.

"Isn't it obvious? We find a way back. It's a long way, but if we turn into wolves, things will speed up by a lot." he declared. They all nodded in agreement, even Luke. It seemed like a good plan. There was only a teeny problem.
