Hey, I just want you to know that I'm know going to have longer updates. Its just that I find I'm writing too little each time, and I don't want to end up with something like 100 chapters. So now instead of updating every week, I'm probably going to update every 2 or 3 weeks. Really sorry about this!

Grace
I still couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that hovered over me, even though hours had passed since I last saw Cameron. If there was one moment in time I could do-over, it would definitely be what happened at the cafeteria. Honestly, I was such an inconsiderate jerk!
I didn't mean to mercilessly snub him right in front of everybody, but I couldn't think straight around him. Cameron made me uneasy. After all, why else would the prince of the school repeatedly chase after a nobody like me?
Maybe because he's your mate, and you two are linked together by a supernatural force that is almost impossible to break? my mind answered sarcastically. As much as I wanted to believe that, I still had my doubts. Wasn't the bond only supposed to work with two werewolves? And besides, I didn't want Cameron to feel attracted to me only because the bond.
Why can't you just admit that you might be starting to have feelings for him? the voice inside my head asked in an almost bored tone. Well, I couldn't deny it. Nobody had ever made me feel that way before. To be truthful, nobody ever paid that much attention to be before Cameron - I just honestly wasn't that interesting.
I was still deep in thought when Julie bounded up to me while I was walking to my next class. Her blue eyes were bright and there was a stray strand of copper coloured hair flying out of her unruly ponytail.
I never really understood why Julie never wore clothes that were particularly revealing or why she wasn't out flirting with every male she laid eyes on. My closest girl friend was undeniably cute, with a button nose and friendly sapphire blue eyes. She had an energetic personality and was most supportive confidant anybody could ask for, yet she never expressed interest in any of the suitors that were constantly chasing after her.
When I asked her why she simply shrugged and said none of them offered what she was looking for. Then she refused to say anything else. It was something that baffled me to no end. She could have anybody she picked, but she never even glanced at any of them.
"Hey," Julie chirped happily. A bit too happily. She was normally a bouncy person, but today it seemed like she was trying to cover something up. There was a gleam in her eye and her smile seemed forced.
I looked at her suspiciously. "What's going on?"
"Oh, me? Nothing's wrong? Nothing's wrong at all! Why would you even think that?!" she babbled in a stream of words while her eyes darted from one direction to the other. Yep. She was definitely hiding something.
"Julie, as a your most trusting confidant there is something I must break to you," I said sincerely, placing my hand on her arm in a comforting gesture.
"Oh Grace, you can tell me anything," she answers, her eyes wide and trusting.
"You are the worst liar in history, so don't you think I don't notice what's happening? You're hiding something from me!" I said. My feelings were only confirmed at the sight of her guilty expression. "Please, I'm your best friend!" I pleaded, taking a step towards her.
