Rise of The Guardians Fanfic

Chapter 5

Jack's Pov

After Kangaroo and the other guys got there. Scar had passed out.

Pitch chuckled and he said "Looks like I'm out numbered."

He chuckled and disappeared.

I turned around and I picked Scarlet up. I could fell her breathing softly. I sighed in relief as she was asleep.

"Is she hurt?" Tooth asked.

I looked at her and I said "No. She just used a lot of her power and it exhausted her. She's only sleeping."

Bunny smiled and brushed her hair from her face. North whistled and his sleigh came and we got in and flew to the north pole.

We laid Scar on a bed in a guest room. I guess it would be her room for the time being. The other guardians left to figure out a plan. I stayed at the side of Scarlet's bed.

I stayed there and I soon became tired and I rose and I went into my room across from hers. I laid down and I fell asleep.

Scarlet's Pov

Beams of sunlight came through a window and shined in my face. I smiled at its warmth.  I sat up and I saw that I was in the north pole.

We got away from Pitch.

I stood up and I walked into the hall. I saw a door with a snowflake on it. It was across from my room, which had the four elements symbols.

I looked at the snowflake.

This must be Jack's room. 

I walked down the hallway and after about ten minutes,  I finally found the kitchen. I asked a yeti if I could make something to eat. He nodded and I made myself a bowl of lucky charms.

I had finished and I went to wonder around some more. An elf was very helpful at helping me find the living room with the fireplace.

I sat on the chair nearest to the fire and I ate cookies and  after abut five cookies, I put the plate down and I stretched out my hand and I took a little of the fire and let the flame dance between my fingers.

I smiled and I sent the flames back into the fireplace.

I turned my head to see Jack walking in.

I smiled and said "Hey."

He looked at me and said "Hi. How are you feeling?"

I stood and I said "Pretty good."

"That's good." he said.

I felt something was wrong and I said "Jack, come with me. I want to show you something."

He and I walked outside and I took his hand and I used the wind to take me to where the problem was.

It turned out to be a kid. She was sad and crying.

I looked at her and I closed my eyes and I began to hum. My hum reached the girl and she stopped crying and she calmed down. I changed my hum to a happy tone and she began to laugh and she walked off, skipping and humming my hum.

I smiled and Jack said "Wow. That was amazing."

I looked at him and he said "Your hum. It's so beautiful."

I smiled and I said "Thanks."

"I never knew you could do that." He said as we took to the air and headed back to the pole.

We got there and I said as we walked inside "There's a lot you don't know about me."

I chuckled and I said "Come to think about it. There's a lot I don't know about myself."

"We'll help you figure it out." Jack said.

"Then what?"

He stopped and he looked at me and I said "After I get my memories and I find out who I am. What happens next. I'm not a guardian, Jack. No one believes in me. After everything's over, I will still be a spirit."

I turned and I walked down the hall, towards my room. I left him standing there, stunned. 

I walked into my room and I closed the door.

I know what I said was mean. But it was true. I'm not a guardian. It is probably best if I disappeared after finding my memories. 

I looked out my window and stared at the sun. I missed my cliff. Where I could lay and feel all of the elements around me. The water splashing, the warm sun, the gentle breeze, and the soft grass. But I knew that I couldn't go there until Pitch was dealt with.

I turned and I gasped.

My door was opened and standing in the doorway. Stood two of Pitch's monsters. 

I lit my hands on fire and I yelled "Jack!"

There was a distant blast and something told me that he was busy and I was on my own.

I frowned and I made a fire ball and I threw it at the monster. It simply blocked it. I took a step back. Why didn't it hit him? The fire balls from before destroyed them.

The monsters grinned and took a step forward.

I frowned and I lit my hands on fire again. Time to give it all I got.

I raised my hands and a fire ball formed. Around it was a layer of air and then water then some earth. It was all one big sphere. The monsters looked surprised. I threw the sphere and destroyed them both.

I stood there panting. I never used all of the elements all at once like that before. I took a step forward to go help the others. I stopped when another two monsters came in. I lit my hands again and I began throwing fire balls, water balls, air and earth balls at them. I couldn't stand anymore. 

I dropped to my knees and my vision began to blur. 

"Out of juice? Perfect."

I dropped to my side and I saw Pitch's figure walk in.

I struggled to get up and almost did but a hard force came down on my back. I crashed back to the ground.  I got mad and I used my air element and I sent Pitch flying. His monsters went flying as well.

I pushed myself up and leaned against the wall. My bow and arrows appeared and I notched an arrow as Pitch stood up.

He glared at me and he said "Looks like someone knows how to have fun."

"I ain't going to go down without a fight." I said.

I let an arrow fly and Pitch ducked and I fired another and just grazed him. He glared at me and I returned a glare right back.

I pushed off from the ground and smashed through a window. I flew into the air and the monsters followed. I threw water at them and turned them into ice. They smashed to the ground and were gone. I couldn't stay up any longer. I dropped to the ground.

It was blizzarding out and I moved my hand and a bunch of snow fell over me and I used the wind to make it look like I was nowhere.

I made my way deeper and deeper until I was sure I was deep enough. I created a earth sphere around my body and I used fire to keep it warm. 

I closed my eyes and I fell asleep.
