Rise of The Guardians Fanfic

Chapter 8

Scarlet's Pov

Moring came and I stood outside. I looked to the sky as the northern lights appeared.

"Uh oh." I said.

I ran inside and North, Sandy, Jack and I hopped into the sleigh and took off. We flew to a forest and I jumped from the sleigh and I landed. The sleigh landed and Bunny and Tooth arrived.

"All you came? Perfect."

I frowned and said "Pitch you coward! Show yourself."

Pitch came out from the trees and he grinned. A lot of his monsters came out behind him.

I looked at the other guardians and with a nod from North, we attacked Pitch.

Pitch grinned and I stopped and brought out my bow and arrows and I aimed at Pitch.

"Go ahead. Take your best shot." He said.

I glared at him and I shot it at one of the monsters instead. It hit it in the eye and I shot another and the monster roared in annoyance. 

I shot arrow after arrow and I knew it was pointless. I frowned and I put my bow away and I started throwing fire and water balls.

I took a step back and I bumped into something. 

In one quick movement I took out and arrow and I notched it and I spun around.

"Whoa!" Jack spun and held his hands up.

I smiled and I spun and shot it into the eye of another monster.

I held onto my bow and I closed my eyes and I felt it begin to shift. When it was done shifting I opened my eyes. It was now a sword. The handle was white (air) and had a green vine wrapped around it (earth) and the blade was a mixture of a fiery red and dark ocean blue (Fire and Water).

I grinned and I ran at one of the monsters. I slashed and I stabbed at them. I looked up after it roared and I ducked as a hand went over my head, barely missing it. I moved and slashed some more at it. I sliced off one of their legs and it fell to the ground. I slashed some more and it finally disintegrated. I stood and I went after the next one.

I slashed at his leg and it roared and swiped at me. I didn't see his hand coming and it hit me full on. I went flying and I landed and I rolled and I fell off of a cliff.

"Scar!" Tooth called. 

I smiled and I shot out my hand and water shot out and I used it to create a water tornado around me and I rose back up to the ground. 

I didn't need to look at myself to know that my body was glowing blue and my eyes were pure sea blue. I already knew. Let's just say I found those out by creating a hurricane when I was mad. 

I landed on the ground and I shot water at the monsters and I closed my eyes and I closed my hands and I turned them into ice cubes. North smashed them along with Bunny. I ran and I picked up my sword from one of the monster's ashes and I went after another monster.    

I jumped as it swung at me and I landed on its arm and I ran up the arm, slashing as I went. The monster roared in anger and I stabbed it in the eye and I slashed off its head and jumped from it as it crumpled to the ground.

I landed and I looked around.

Jack was fighting a monster with only one arm. Tooth and Sandy were attacking a monster. Bunny and North were fighting a pissed off monster with one leg stuck in the ground.

I ran to help Jack when a monster dropped in front of me.

I gasped and I flew into the air. It spread out it's wings and it followed me. I shot fire at it and it dodged them. It flew at me with its hand raised and I moved away and the claws only scratched my jacket. I kicked upward and made contact with its jaw.

It growled and I said "Yeah I bet you didn't like that."

It spun and I didn't get out of the way of its tail.  I smashed into me and I went flying. I regained my balanced and I ducked as its hand went over my head. I punched it in the jaw and I flew back and I slashed at it with my sword. It grabbed my sword and it yanked it out of my hand. I growled and it threw it to the ground which was about ten feet below us.

The monster grinned and I frowned.

"Imma gonna smack that grin off of your ugly face." I said.

I flew forward and I kicked it in the chest and I punched it in the jaw and I ducked as it swung at me. My duck earned me a foot to the chest. I grunted and it punched me in the stomach and I flew backwards and despite the risk I did it anyway.

I made a ball of fire, water, air, and earth, I moved my hands and I made it into a spear. I gripped it and I threw it into the monster. It howled with pain and I flew forward and I pushed it deeper. We began to fall to the ground. It hit the ground and POOF, it was gone. I felt light headed and I dropped to the ground and I collapsed onto my back.

I groaned and a foot kicked me in the side hard. I cried out and I looked up into the eyes of Pitch.

"Looks like you're out of energy my dear." He grinned and said "Perfect."

He raised his hands and I was lifted into the air. I watched as black sand swirled around me and I was surrounded in a sphere of black sand. I closed my eyes and I curled up and hugged my knees to my chest.

I heard Pitch laugh and he said "Enjoy the darkness."

I heard Jack's voice yell "Scar!"

Then there was silence.

Absolute silence.
