Chapter 12

Scarlet's Pov

There was a forest at the edge of the town and we landed there.

I got out and so did the boy. In fact, he walked right through me.

I sighed and Bunny looked at me and the boy and he said "Hey kid."

The boy turned around and Bunny said "What's your name?"

"Leo." The boy said.

I gasped. The boy from the letter I had found. I pulled it out and I gave it to North. He grinned and the rest soon caught on.

"And was this your letter you wrote last year?" North said.

The boy looked at the letter and he nodded "Yea. That is it. I still liked what you gave me, though."

"And this sister of yours. You miss her?" Tooth said.

Leo nodded and he said "Yes."

"Tell me Leo, you ever heard of the four elements?" Jack said.

"Yeah. Fire, water, earth and wind." Leo said.

I smiled and Sandy said something and Bunny translated "You believe in them?"

Leo looked at him and Tooth said "Think of all of those warm fires at camp."

"Or the calm warm water at the beach." Jack said.

"And the awesome kite flying days in the park." North said.

"And how amazing the first day of spring was." Sandy said and Bunny translated again.

Leo stood there and Jack said "If you believe in all of those elements you will see who I was talking to."

Leo remained there for a few minutes and then he looked to his left and his eyes rested on me. And only me.

"Sc....Scar.....Scarlet?" He said slowly.

I looked at him and I said "You can see me?"

He nodded and I looked at Tooth and the others. Tooth smiled and handed me the golden container. I touched it and I was pulled into a vision.

*Flash back*

"So how was your day Leo?" I asked him.

He hung his head and he said "Fine."

Uh oh. I knew that tone. That's the "The high school bullies were picking on me again" tone.

I sighed and I stopped him and I said "Leo, you and I both know that is not what you mean."

He looked up at me and I said "Those bullies are picking on you again, aren't they?"

Thanks Scar." He said. "You're the best."

I smile and we went down the alley. It was a shortcut to our house.

"I really wish you'd let me teach those goons a lesson." I said.

"I don't want you too. Those guys. They're bad news. They'd hurt you." He said.
