"Well now this place is fancy." Haleigh mused, looking around the large two queen bed hotel suite that they had been set up with.

"Definitely one of the better ones I've been put up in. But then again, most of the missions I tend to go to don't involve such high class people." Steve set their bags down and sat on the end of a bed. "Should probably get some sleep. It's pretty early in the morning."

She looked at the clock, noting it was almost three. "You're probably right." She yawned a bit, flopping herself down on the other bed. She kicked off her shoes, laying back onto the plush mattress.

"I'll go change in the bathroom." He said stiffly, not sure how he should feel about sharing a room with Haleigh. Before she could answer, he was already closing the door behind him. Upon his return into the room, he couldn't help but smile. She was already curled up under the covers fast asleep.

Steve awoke later that morning to the sound of humming and smell of brewing coffee. He opened an eye, catching sight of Haleigh in a tank top and workout shorts.

"Morning, Steve." She mused, not even turning to look at him.

"How'd you know I was up?" He cleared his throat as he sat up, still raspy from just having woken up.

"Your breathing changed."

"You were listening to my breathing?" He cocked a brow.

"It's steady. Soothing." She shrugged, handing him a warm mug of coffee.

"Thanks." He nodded, blowing on it a bit before taking a sip.

"Sure." She smiled, moving to sit on her designated bed. She grabbed her own mug before adding, "Can I ask you something?"

"Always." He said offhandedly, looking to her.

"So.. I've read your file and different articles and things and something's been bugging me."

"Alright..." He said warily, "Shoot."

"How'd you learn to dance so well? Everything I've read says you have two left feet."

"Oh. Uhm. Well. Shortly after I woke up after everything that had happened, I found that punching a weighted bag over and over no longer numbed the pain. I needed another outlet and had always told myself I'd learn how to dance so I said what the heck and started learning."

"I see." She giggled a bit, sipping on her coffee.

"What?" He asked, cocking a brow once more.

"I guess I'd never peg dancing as an outlet for a guy. Especially one with your stature."

"What would you think I do instead?"

"Well all the guys I know would have chosen sex, drinking, or probably some form of getting high." She grinned, seeing the tell-tale crimson across the Captain's cheeks.

"W-well, even if I drink, I can't get drunk. And I wouldn't be surprised if any form of drug would be a similar case, not that I'd ever want to ingest something like that."

It was her turn to cock a brow curiously. "And sex?"

"It isn't a situation that's come up." He mumbled.

"Right. The age thing.. You know you can just not tell people your actual age? It's different if you're looking for a relationship but for just sex.."

"Not gonna happen." He shook his head, interrupting her. "I'd rather fight than something like that."

She nodded. "Hey, to each their own." She mused a bit, returning to her coffee.
