Restricted from training thanks to her ribs, Haleigh was forced to sit out of anything physical. The plus side was, it meant she got to spend most of her time in the past month in front of a computer and tons of printouts with Steve as they went over the contents from the laptop they pulled. Several documents showed that there was a club in New York that had a large intake of a specific alcohol while simultaneously having a high rate of disappearances. It had him curious.

After delving into police reports involving the club, stories started to line up in a strange way. Employees would notice that the missing person in question was seen with the owner and taken to the back office. Then poof. Never seen from again. Seeing that Steve was lost in his planning mode and completely ignoring her presence, Haleigh decided to take a break and left.

Later that afternoon, Haleigh was walking down the hall to the common room when she ran into Nat and Clint. She smiled at them, intending to just walk past them until Nat stopped her.

"Hey, question. Do you own anything to go out in?" She grinned mischievously.

"Out as in..?"

"To the club." Clint added.

Haleigh groaned. "Let me guess.. Steve's made a mission for tonight?"

"Sort of. Think of it as a double date mission. I just want to make sure you have something appropriate for a New York club before he asks you himself."

"Not really, no. I don't have much time to party other than Tony's which I don't dress up for."

"I've noticed. Come to my room to get dressed tonight." She caught Steve out of the corner of her eye and winked. "I'll get you set up."

"Uh thanks?" She asked a little confused as the two walked off.

"Hey!" Steve smiled, joining Haleigh. "So I know you're not suppose to go on any crazy missions, but why not one a little more fun?"

"Fun how?" She cocked a brow.

"Well, your fun. I'll probably feel horribly awkward and out of place but-"

"As always I'll bring you out of your shell?"

He laughed. "Exactly. We're going with Nat and Clint. Tony will be on call and we'll have coms in to talk to each other from across rooms and things. It's our job to mingle, scope, and distract. Their job to get into the back office, and Tony to help with any computers and things to get everything downloaded far faster, including security footage."

"When do I have to be ready?"

"Eight. I'll come pick you up." He smiled.

"I'll be with Nat, so find me there."

He waved over his shoulder, having started to walk off.

She shook her head with amusement. "Lord help me when Nat gets her hands on me.."

--------------------------------------------------------

"Are you sure about this?" Haleigh asked looking at herself in Nat's full length mirror.

"Of course I am. You're gorgeous and the selected center of attention with Cap tonight." Nat grinned wickedly, glancing at her. There was a knock on the door and she hopped out of her seat to answer it. She smiled, seeing Clint and Steve. She whistled a bit. "Don't you two look ready for a night on the town."

"Yeah, well it's easier for us to achieve that look than the two of you. You look great." Clint mused, glancing between Steve and Nat. Both men were dressed in a light leather jacket, t-shirt and dark blue jeans.
