"Stark, why do you bring us here?" Pietro cocked a brow as he walked into Tony's lab. He wasn't alone as the entire Avengers team was gathered.

Haleigh, who was sitting on an exam table, looked up at him. "We're playing show and tell." She grinned.

Tony nodded. "Haleigh and I have been working on some new tech and we need to get it installed in everyone. She's been my guinea pig since she was released for minor activity. Which is why she's on the table." He added, glancing at Steve.

"You've been doing experiments on Haleigh?" Steve glared, crossing his arms.

"Relax, Steve. It's nothing too crazy and I volunteered. I had nothing better to do considering you were away on missions the whole time." She shrugged, missing the guilty frown that spread across his face.

"So what's it about?" Natasha asked curiously.

"Well in light of the recent problem we've had with members getting kidnapped and in the case that it may happen again, I've been working on an undetectable tracking unit that's put in beneath your skin." Tony explained. He smirked a bit when everyone winced.

"It stings, but it doesn't really hurt when it's implanted. Like getting your ears pierced." Haleigh added. "I've had mine since the beginning of December and now that all the kinks are worked out of it, we're pleased to announce that it's in a completely functioning state."

"Two months?!" Steve hissed. "You've been doing this thing for two months and haven't said anything to me?"

"You've been secretly forcing Fury to send you on missions infiltrating HYDRA bases suspected to have creepy torturous doctors for two months and chose not to tell me that it's your doing that you haven't been home to spend time with me." Haleigh retorted, gaining an awkward wave of fidgeting from the others.

"Who the hell told you?" He asked, jaw clenching as he looked to the group.

"No one. I'm not an idiot, Steve. Tony taught me how to hack to benefit our missions a long time ago. I'm a big girl and can snoop for myself. Now. Can we please discuss this later and continue on with this?"

He cleared his throat nodding.

"Oo-kay." Tony whistled. He held up a tiny chip in between his fingers, no larger than the thickness of a watch battery. "This is the device itself. It's voice activated by a specific word phrase of your choosing."

"So wouldn't it just go off at random? I mean what if you say the word on accident?" Wanda asked, cocking her head to the side a bit.

"At first this was a problem yes. However, I've altered the programming to detect when a person is in distress. Now it runs at all times but doesn't actually track anything you do unless you tell it to. Two key words in a row. One to turn the signal on, one to start tracking. If they aren't said within thirty seconds of each other, it shuts back off." He popped a screen up. "Haleigh."

"Jarvis is programmed to automatically detect when a signal has been switched on by its distress phrase. Watch the screen." She pointed to it. "Expecto." She grinned a bit at the snickers she received. "Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want." She let thirty seconds pass and the white blip on the screen faded. "That's the signal shutting off. Now if I say, Expecto.. Patronum." The blip turned red, flashing. "Now it's in distress mode. Only Jarvis will know the phrase. The rest of us won't have any idea. And I'll be changing mine as soon as I get a second to. This way, it's a ghost program."

"And this helps us because..?" Natasha asked.

"If someone gets kidnapped, and activates this, we can track you. If they're injured or something happens where your com is missing and you need help, we can track you." Tony answered.
