Hope you enjoy! Please tell me what you think!

I woke up the next day to the doorbell ringing. Having the doorbell wake you up is far worse than an alarm clock waking you up. Knowing that Jamie would not answer the door, I pulled on by zip up hoodie before answering the door. I just hoped that I could get rid of them and get back to sleep as soon as possible. To my surprise it was Noah. I searched my mind wondering if we had agreed to meet up and I’d forgotten. When I came up blank, I wondered how on earth he had managed to get my address. Opening the door, I let Noah in before sticking the kettle on.
‘I’d love to be able to say it’s great to see you but its ten o’clock, every student who doesn’t need to go to work should be sleeping.’
‘Sorry to turn up unannounced, but a bets a bet and here I am ready to paint.’ Noah flashed a pearly white smile at me. Groaning, I banged my head against the kitchen counters repeatedly.
‘Noah, that’s great and all but its ten o’clock, I’m so tired. Tea?’ I managed to grunt out loud, heaven knows if Noah understood what I said.
‘Coffee please, I’m actually not a big tea drinker.’ I froze and slowly turned around.
‘Are you being serious right now or are you joking, I can’t tell, it’s too early to socialise. Tea is the meaning of life, how can you not like tea.’ Noah chuckled, at this. He probably thought I was joking, but in reality I was being quite serious.
‘Right, where do we get started?’ declared Noah as he heated his hands on top of his coffee mug. Groaning, I turned to Noah.
‘I’m going to shower and throw on some clothes, you can either watch some telly or you can start covering things up so they don’t get paint on them. Paint and protective cloths are in the spare room, down the hall and to second door on the right. I should be out by then.’
‘Great, I’ll get started on it.’ Noah smiled, I dug my hands in my pockets and looked straight ahead at the picture of the sailing boats.
‘Thanks for this Noah.’ I glimpsed over at him to see him looking at me and smiling back.
‘It’s the least I could do afte-‘
‘Hello. I didn’t know we had guests.’ Jamie’s voice rang through the kitchen area. She looked immaculate. Don’t be fooled by her pyjamas. He hair had been straightened and she had put some light make up on. This, ladies and gentleman, is the ‘just woke up look’ that they show you on the telly. I inwardly groaned at the comparison between Jamie and I.
‘I’ll get ready now. Jamie, you remember Noah. Noah this is my room mate Jamie. Jamie, are you staying to decorate?’ I started to awkwardly shuffle towards my room.
‘Maybe I’ll stick around for a while – but at twelve I have to go to a promotion lunch.’
I slipped out before Jamie could go into her life plan or successful career. I’m not going to lie, I was mildly jealous. She had completely flunked her degree but manages to earn money by using her looks – surely this is not allowed? I make my way to the shower and mechanically go through my routine, before throwing on some old clothes and putting my hair in a bun. Glancing at the clock I realised that I been about twenty-five minutes. I walked out to Jamie droning on about something to do with modelling and Noah constantly nodding his head. I smirked at the bored look on his face as he would tap the table and beat his leg in frustration.
