I let her be. Because I guess that's what she needed right now. I ache whenever she starts to cry. A couple of times I have the urge to wipe them, but I tried not to. She needed that. She needs to let that out. All I can do is be with her, and hope that she knows I will always be.I wanted to let her know that she didn't need to feel that pain anymore. I wanted to tell her that there's a guy out there thankful for her existence. But I can't, yet.
"I heard some of your interviews." She started to speak. I guess she have calmed down a bit.
"Cool. Thanks. Not every one gets to watch us." I replied.
"You always have this one celebrity crush." She proceeded.
"Yeah. That one fine lady." I was now blushing, I'm thankful it's not really bright where we are.
"Why?" She asked.
"Why what?" I asked.
"Why do you like that girl so much? You don't even know her." She almost whispered in a sad tone.
"Why not? She's a tough cookie. She's an inspiration. She's someone any girl would like to be. Not to mention she's really really a beauty."
I answered in all honesty."That's only the surface. Nobody knew the real her. The one behind the camera, the clothes, the make-up. The one behind a smile. They don't know her inner struggles, her inner thoughts, her inner feelings. All you see people are the ones being asked about her. But no one knew, her interests, her fears, her dreams. No one really knew her." She sighed after.
I put my guitar down. I looked her in the eye. How I always dreamed of being this close to her. I am too close for her fears and dreams. I saw them all in her eyes. Her hair was flowing in the wind. And her eyes, its twinkle are brighter than the stars. I looked directly to her eyes, intently and honestly,
"So let me Shari." I asked with all my heart.
The sadness and fears are now back in her eyes. She looked away. "I've heard that before."
I felt a pang as she said that. "I know, and I'm not in a hurry. And you don't know me either. There's a lot you need to know about me."
She looked back at me. "What for?" Tears are building up in her eyes.
"Because.. You are worthy.." I rambled with my words. I wiped her tears. "Because you are worth.. more than this."
