Chapter 9- Fun

Dragon POV

I woke up around nine o'clock in the morning. I rolled over to my right. I found the spot empty.

Oh yeah, she had a meeting at eight.

I walked out of the room then headed to the bathroom to wash my face. I headed to the kitchen.

I smiled. She prepared pancakes for me.

I ate the pancakes with butter and maple syrup.

I went back to Joanna's room. I looked at the bedside drawer and noticed a folded note. I read the note.

Hey, Cole. You might've noticed that I'm gone so I prepared pancakes for you before I left for a meeting at 8. I know I'm usually late for work but... you really made me happy last night. Are you still gonna sleep here later? Would you like to have dinner with me? Just send me a text of your answer.

I chuckled. I took my phone which was beside where the note was.

I texted.

If you want me to sleep here again, I'll sleep here with you. Are you gonna cook? I like the dishes you cook.

I put my phone back on the bedside drawer. I took out a towel then went to the bathroom to take a bath.

After bathing, I wore a black shirt with white sleeves and a pair of blue denim pants. I matched it with checkered black and white sneakers.

I took my phone from the bedside drawer to check if she replied.

:) I'd like it if you stay. What do you want me to cook?

I chuckled then typed.

How about my favorite?

I put my phone in my pocket. I walked out of Joanna's flat.

As I got on the elevator, my phone rang. I answered the call.

"Which one?" She asked.

"Which one what?" I asked back.

"Favorite?"

"Oh..." I smiled. "Surprise me."

She chuckled over the phone. "Alright. Where are you?"

I walked out of the elevator. "I just got off the elevator. I'm heading to my office."

"Alright. Take care."

"Do you have another meeting?"

"Nope. Just a short trip to Eija City."

"Why?"

"To check the company's status over there."

"How long?"

"Five to six hours."

"Oh, I see. Take care now."

"Yeah. I will."

"I love you, Joanna."

"I love you too, Cole."

She ended the call as I headed towards my car in the parking lotm

I drove to the Andes Hospital. After arriving, I went straight to my office on the second floor.

After two hours, my phone rang.

I answered the call. "Dragon?! Come over to Gein Avenue! Phoenix, Hunter and Sakura are causing trouble here!"

I calmly walked to the hospital's rooftop. I put on my Illusion Ring. I flew towards Gein Avenue.

There, Phoenix stood behind Hunter and Sakura. She smirked.

I landed between Zoom and Sage. Angel stood beside Sage. I asked, "Why are you doing this?!"

She laughed. Her laugh was so familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

She replied, "Oh, you know. Just for fun."

I've been busy with school so yeah. Exams were so near then our teachers started piling up projects one after another. I got so freakin stressed but then my Romeo(crush) always talked to me yesterday which is why I feel so inspired right now :3 enjoy!!
