Chapter 6- Every Villain

Phoenix POV

"Did they believe you?" I asked through the phone.

King laughed. "Like fools, they did."

I smirked. "They're pretty desperate to catch me." I was running on the treadmill talking to King on the phone. He was on speaker.

"They really are that desperate." King said.

Ring Ring

"Call me back. Chloe's calling." I said. I hung up on King.

I answered Chloe's call. "Chloe."

"You said to call. So what is it?" Chloe asked.

"The League knows who you are."

"Any plans?"

"Don't be Zero until we have Wi-Fire. Get captured by the League. I'll be there to supposedly help them capture you. Convince all of the villains to join us. I will personally break you out three days after you're caught."

"Join us? You do know there's a reason why we're called the Seven Sins cause there are seven of us."

"That's not what I meant, Chloe. What I meant was that they join us in a war against the League."

Silence was on the line. "So what else should I do now?"

"Don't wear your Illusion Ring. They won't be able to capture you in front of the people-"

"Because they don't have solid evidence to prove that I'm Zero unless I admit that I am Zero." Chloe finished.

"Be careful though." I warned.

"Yeah." With that said, Chloe ended the call.

Knock Knock

I stopped the treadmill and went to the door. I opened the door and saw Cole holding a box of chocolates. He gave me the box of chocolates. "Good morning, beautiful. Did you have a good night sleep?" He gave me a peck on my lips.

I chuckled. "Good morning to you too, handsome. And yes, I did have a good night sleep. Did you?"

He entered my flat. "I had a good night sleep but it wouldv'e been better if you were beside me." He snaked his arm on my back.

I pressed my palms on his cheeks. I leaned in and kissed him. "How about you sleep here tonight?"

Cole smirked. "Anything for my beautiful girlfriend."

He let go of me. I headed to the kitchen. "So, you have plans for today?"

He leaned his arms on the island table. "That depends. You busy?"

I sighed. "Yeah, I'm busy. I have a meeting to attend to."

His face showed disappointment. "Oh, what about tonight?"

"I'll ask Gwyneth if I'm free tonight. If I'm not, I'll make sure I'm free later tonight just for you."

He smiled. "Great! Cause I have plans."

"I know."

"How?"

"You looked disappointed when I said I was busy."

He laughed. "I promise you won't regret it."

I was tempted to read his mind but I didn't. I swore to myself I wouldn't read Cole's mind ever since I met him cause well, I really did like him a lot back in high school.

"What if I regret it?"

He grinned. "You won't."

I leaned my arms on the island across Cole. "I better not regret it or I'll leave you." I joked.

Cole leaned in. "It'll be the best night you're gonna have."

I walked around the table towards Cole. "I'm free for a couple of hours. Movie?"

Cole pulled me in for a kiss. He smiled in between our kiss. "Yeah sure."

I turned on the TV and set up the DVD player. I put in a disc of an action movie. The movie started to play. Cole would put his hand on my lap. I leaned my head against his shoulder. His hand turned my head so as to make me look at him. We both leaned in and kissed. We would watch the movie again for a couple of minutes before making out again.

Knock Knock

"Ah, damn." Cole groaned.

I chuckled. "I'll get it." I got off of him then headed towards the door. I opened the door. It was Gwyneth.

"Why are you still in a bathrobe?" Gwyneth asked. She looked down on the left side on my neck. "Also, you have a hickey."

My hand immediately covered the left side of my neck. "You don't tell people they have hickeys." I whined.

"If you're a CEO, which you are, I'll tell you." Gwyneth crossed her arms. "Get changed." She pointed to my room.

I went to my room. I took out a red flannel shirt and black skinny jeans along with white sneakers. I put my Illusion Ring in my back pocket. I went out of my room.

"You're gonna wear that?" Gwyneth asked.

"Why?" I asked.

"She looks good." Cole complimented.

"How come you don't know you have a meeting?" Gwyneth asked.

"I do?" I scratched my chin. "Oh yeah! I do!"

"You have to be in a formal attire."

"It's semi-formal." I complained.

"Whatever. Let's go. There's no time for you to change." Gwyneth held my wrist and pulled me outside of my flat.

"Lock the door when you get out, Cole!" I reminded him.

Once we were out Cole's earshot, Gwyneth asked me. "Why'd you let King tell the League who Chloe is?"

"Chloe's good at persuading people."

"Who's she going to persuade?"

"Every villain in the Dome."
