Dragon POV

I was frozen. I just continued to stare at her.

Phoenix turned to me. "Bring her to the Dome." With that, she left along with Bloom and Porter.

Still frozen in my spot, the other Patriots came to take Celtic Lady to the Dome.

All the way to the Dome, I was silent. We went to our meeting room in the Dome.

"Cole?" Sakura called out gently. "What's wrong?"

With a shaky sigh, I turned to my team. "I saw her."

Angel frowned. "Saw who?"

"Phoenix."

Silence.

Hunter chuckled nervously. "That's impossible."

"I really did see her." I insisted. "I swear."

"Cole, you just need to rest." Moon suggested.

I sighed knowing that they would never believe me. I went home soon after. My boys were already asleep. I just slept it off.

The next morning, I went to the coffee shop and saw Hailey with Erik.

Now that's a sight I never thought I'd see.

I approached them. "Whatcha guys doing?"

Erik looked startled. "Uh..." He leaned closer to Hailey and whispered. "Should we tell him?"

I sat down on the empty chair. "I can still hear you, Erik."

Erik slumped down to his chair.

"Uh... well..." Hailey started. "We're researching about resurrection."

"Resurrection?" I raised a brow. "What for?"

Erik looked at Hailey and then to me. He leaned over and whispered, "We think Joanna Stannard is still alive."

I looked at both of them. "What?"

"We know she's your wife but we found something." Hailey said.

"Found what?" I asked, intrigued.

"Well, Hailey found a picture of a woman that sorta looks like Joanna." Erik said.

"May I see the picture?" I asked.

"No!" Hailey hurriedly replied.

I frowned. "Why not?"

Erik face lit up with realization. "Ah."

Hesitantly, Hailey pulled out a portrait from her bag and then gave it to me.

I inspected the picture. A blonde woman and a toddler, maybe three years of age. The more I looked at the woman, the more I saw Joanna.

"Do you know where this woman is?" I asked immediately.

Hailey and Erik looked at each reluctantly.

"Um... Uncle, take a closer look at the toddler." Erik suggested.

I did as I was told. The toddler was a brunette. Same features as the Joanna look alike. I turned to Hailey to say something but she looked like an older version of the toddler in the picture. I pointed at the toddler. "This is you."

"There may be a chance that..." She shyly looked away. "You're my father."

I looked at her, not knowing what to say. I sighed. "I'll help you find out what you can."

They both nodded as they went back to researching.

I went to the hospital and watched over the construction. Ah, well, watched over May. The more she moved, the more I saw Joanna in her.
