Chapter Eleven

It was a bright morning as the school bell rings throughout the school.Students flock the school gate and goes in the building to begin the day.Anya had just arrived and was walking through the school grounds with a sleepy look on her face.She was accompanied by her blond friend.She notice this and asks her about it.

Blond girl:You look tired.Didn't you get enough sleep?(looks at anya)
Anya:Something like that.I've been having these nightmares for several days now.I mean,I'm too old for that kind of stuff,right?
Blond girl:Nightmares aren't just for kids you know.Maybe you're still not over it.You know,about your dad not taking you to the amusement park.
Anya:I'm not that stubborn.I understand my dad's situation and it can't be helped.
Blond girl:You're saying that its alright but I don't think that's what you truly feel.
Anya:I'm telling you that I'm fine.Besides,there's another reason why I couldn't sleep.
Blond girl:And what that might me?
Anya:I've been seeing this...person lately.There's this feeling that someone is watching me or something like that.

Her friend was feeling a little scared of what Anya said.

Blond girl:Jeez,don't say things like that.You know I'm not good at handling the supernatural.
Anya:Huh? You're afraid of ghost?
Blond girl:Totally! Remember that time in elementary where you came to my house and we watched that really,really scary movie?

Anya was confuse by this but plays along.

Anya:Oh,y-yeah.That was pretty scary huh?
Blond girl:I think I might have been scared for life after watching that.Sigh.
Anya:You'll get over it.(giggles)

Anya thinks for a moment about what her friend just said.

Anya:That's strange.I can't remember ever doing that.It must have slipped my mind since it happened a long time ago anyway.(thinks to self)

While they continue their walk to the school building,something catch Anya's attention.On the second floor of one of the classrooms,a being was looking at her through the window.It was a bald man with googles and was wearing a worn out hospital.He was also rather skinny and seems weak.Anya couldn't believe was she was seeing.She turns away to rub her eyes but when she looks again,he was gone.

Anya:Hey,did you see that?
Blond girl:Huh? See what?(looks at anya)
Anya:I think I saw a strange person wearing a hospital gown in one of the classrooms.
Blond girl:Girl,you're definitely starting to see things.I mean,this is a school not a hospital.
Anya:Y-you're right.The lack of sleep in getting to me.
Blond girl:Why don't you go take a quick nap in the infirmary? I'll tell the teacher that you're not feeling well.
Anya:No,its fine.
Blond girl:Are you sure? You might collapse again you know.

The thought of passing out again gave Anya second thoughts.

Anya:On second thought,I think I'll do just that.I don't want to cause anyone more trouble.
Blond girl:Sure.I'm sure the teacher will understand.Come to class when you're feeling better.
Anya:Sure.Thanks.(smiles)

Inside the school building,Anya and her friend part ways.Her friend turns left to go to the classroom while Anya turns right for the infirmary.As she was walking,her head starts to ache a little.Her vision was also starting to blur a little.She leans against the wall for a moment to make sure she doesn't suddenly fall down.

Anya:Man,I must be really tired.It was a good thing I decided to rest instead of going to class.

She starts walking again but had one hand against the wall in case something happens.She only takes several steps when she sees someone at the far end of the hallway.Her eyes widen in shock to see the same skinny man from before.She could see that he was grinning menacingly at her.She shakes her head and tries to calm down.
