Life's been so busy now, mom. I wish you were here to see what I've accomplished.
You see, I've expanded the family business further than any other company has gone before. In fact, ships carrying our goods have docked into ports of the great Americas. I am sure that our company will establish business there soon enough to allow construction of factories. With the help of cousin Daniel, restrictions regarding my gender have no limit on me anymore. In fact, I can be classified as the rank of a man's by now.
I've managed to afford us a suitable manor that replaces the beauty of our once proud Wilde household foundation. It may not match it but the effort to build it was of great responsibility.
Good bye,
Mom.I sighed as I dropped my pencil into the booklet and shut it. I stuffed it in my satchel, standing up from the steps of the back porch.
It was a nice day for outdoor activities. Daniel would be handling business with the wealthy partners in my company. Yes, I know, it's his name but it was my idea and my blood and sweat that was put into this more than him.
Anyways, it's been almost 6 years since that faithful incident of redemption to society. Just like my mother, he says; just like her, I'd take the chance when given one. Daniel is like an overprotective older sibling, or a second mom to be honest.
I stretched my legs and arms, having one more glimpse of the out doors before heading inside.
The household was bustling with activity as maids cleaned and servants scurried around to decorate.
I stomped towards the servant quarters with an angered face. "ZEKE WHERE ARE YOU." I growled as my hands bawled into fists.
Out came the fully dressed butler, fixing his cuffs as his eyes glided from his wrists to you.
"Oh I apologize m'lady. Just finished cleaning up and had to get a new pair of gloves." I rolled my eyes and checked my pocket watch. It's not even noon yet and it's rush hour.
"Come on now. We're heading to the docks. No coaches, just horses. Hurry up." I gestured him off and went to the weaponry locker to arm up.
