Chapter 7 ~ Hickeys

"Matt...? Matt... wake up baby." A distant voice said and I let out a groan as I tried to will it away. How annoying, let me sleep instead! Why did I have to go up now?!

"Nooo..." I whined as someone suddenly removed the covers from my body. I forced my eyes open and when my gaze landed on Ethan I gave him an angry glare. Who stole someone's covers first thing in the morning? How cruel!

"Do you plan to stay in bed all day or what?" Ethan asked, smiling down at me where I lay. I gave him a dry stare and simply raised an eyebrow at him as I answered:

"You're telling me I can't?"

Ethan tilted his head a bit to the side and suddenly I could feel him wrap his hand around my ankle. Without answering me he suddenly pulled me down to the foot of the bed and took a hold of me, lifting me up from the bed. I struggled against him as he simply started walking towards the bathroom and I groaned in irritation when he didn't let up one bit.

"That's correct, I'm telling you you can't stay in bed all day." He said and I huffed at his words. He was such a party pooper this man...

"Ughh... you're an awful man..." I groaned when he entered the bright bathroom and put me down on the cold tile floor. I rubbed my eyes tiredly and tried to will some energy into my body. How come you always feel like you've slept for an eternity when you wake up?

"What time is it?" I mumbled, walking up to the sink to splash some water on my face.

"Hm... almost nine." Ethan answered and when the words finally processed inside my sleepy mind I immediately halted and turned on my heels to walk back out the way we came.

"I'm going back to sleep." I stated but I hadn't taken more than two steps when Ethan wrapped his arm around me and pulled me back to the sink.

"Aw come on Matt, you can't sleep away the day." He stated, sounding too cheery for my liking. How come he wasn't tired? Nine was like in the middle of the night for God's sake! It was inhuman to be up this early!

"I can and I will as soon as you let go of me." I said, dryly. Ethan rolled his eyes at me and then he simply let me go and started walking towards the door.

"Just get ready and I'll make you some breakfast Matt." He said and then he left me alone in the bathroom. I stared after him for a second and then I turned towards the sink.

When my eyes met with my reflection in the bathroom mirror I paused and just stared. My face looked the same but I didn't feel the same. What the hell had I been doing yesterday? Why was I suddenly clinging to a man I didn't even know that well? Why in the world had it ended up with me and him sharing a bed and him kissing me?

While the thoughts swirled inside my head I leaned forward and suddenly I realized that I had some red marks around the part where my neck met with my shoulder. I could feel my eyes widen when it went up for me that it was several bite marks.

"Gaaah! Ethaaaan!!" I screamed, the sound of my voice filling the room and probably shaking the whole house. A second later Ethan tumbled in through the door and when his eyes landed on me over by the sink he gave me a startled stare.

"What? Why are you screaming? Did something happen?" He asked, frantically searching my appearance for something out of place. I turned my eyes on him slowly and pointed to the place on my neck that were covered in hickeys.

"What. The. Hell. Is. This." I growled, pronouncing each word separately in a dangerous tone of voice. Ethan looked at what I was pointing at and then he calmly met my wild gaze.
