Chapter 12 ~ Unfair

God dammit... this was the slowest turtle death I'd ever come across...

Maybe the wolf planned on licking me to death before eating me? This day had been weird enough so why not?

We had been lying on the ground, the wolf on top of me for what felt like forever and every time I tried to move away the wolf would simply push me down again. The last time he did it I glared up at him and stuck my tongue out.

"Stupid animal, if you won't eat me then can't you just let me go?" I grumbled, pouting as the wolf huffed and nudged my hand again. He had done that for a while now, nudging my hand and looking at me like he wanted me to do something. It was getting boring and I hated boring things.

"Okay so let's say for a second that I actually am crazy enough to believe that you are Ethan what do you want from me exactly? If you want me to calm down sitting on me like this isn't exactly helping your case just so you know..." I said, staring up at the animal on top of me. The wolf blinked at me for a couple of seconds and then he suddenly shocked me completely by morphing into a very naked Ethan on top of me.

"Holy fucking hell!!" I yelled, unconsciously jerking my arm up and smacking Ethan across the face. I could see his eyes widen in surprise but when his grip loosened around me I quickly pushed him away and crawled backwards putting some much needed distance between us. I was staring open mouthed at him and I knew I probably looked like I had seen something crazy. Well guess what? I had seen something crazy!

"I can't believe the moon godess matched me with a guy as adorable as you baby." Ethan suddenly said, shooting me a wide grin and I could feel my heart skip a beat inside my chest.

Na-ah he would not sweet-talk his way out of this fucking mess.

Before I could stop myself I shot up from the ground and dived at Ethan, landing on top of him and sending us both tumbling to the ground. I ignored the fact that he was naked when I leaned closer and touched my fingertips against his face. I pulled at different parts of his body, checking his fingers for claws and pulling his lips apart to look for sharp fangs.

After a couple of minutes, when I finally realized I wouldn't find anything strange, I let my hands fall down to rest against his chest and then I stared into his amused gaze. He had let me touch him without interfering but now he simply put a finger under my chin and tilted my head back a bit. He leaned down to press a soft kiss to my lips and I could feel a blush taint my cheeks red as I hurriedly pulled back and attempted to crawl away from him again. 

I didn't get far and before I knew it I was pulled back into Ethan's warm embrace. He turned me around and pressed my back against his chest, burying his nose in my neck from behind. He hummed in satisfaction as he rubbed his cheek against my shoulder and I got the feeling he was trying to rub his scent on me like an animal would. Well... then again he was an animal... literally...

"I can't believe you're... you're..." I began and Ethan filled in with:

"A wolf?"

"No, naked." I retorted and after a second of silence Ethan burst out laughing. He laughed so hard I shook like a leaf against him and I could feel his hot breath dancing against the back of my neck. I shivered and pouted as I turned my head to give him a slight glare. He was laughing at me and I didn't appreciate it at all.

"Sorry baby but you... hahaha... you actually care about that after looking so scared before? Hahaha unbelievable!" Ethan forced out and I could feel my pout morph into a frown.

"Who are you calling scared, you little plum! I was most certainly not scared!" I exclaimed and that earned me another laugh from the man behind me.
