Dinner was just as bad as I suspected it would be. My mother asked question after question to Ethan and it was almost starting to feel more like an interrogation then a conversation. Even so, Ethan took it all very well and he didn't even seem bothered by the inquiring gaze my mother sent him over the table.

"So you met him at a petrol-filling station?" My mother said and it took me awhile to realize that she had shifted her gaze to me. I swallowed the food in my mouth and nodded at her.

"Eh... yeah. We were buying food." I said and I immediately heard Ethan snort from beside me.

"I wouldn't call the candy that you bought 'food'. Then again, if you cold choose you'd probably only eat candy for the rest of your life wouldn't you Matt?" He said and I shot him a small glare.

"Would not!" I defended and I could tell by the smirk on everybody's faces that they didn't believe me in the least.

"Yeah you so would. Do you remember that time when mum bought halloween candy for trick or treat and you ate it all by yourself?" Sky said, grinning at me as I sent him a defensive look.

"I was nine!" I exclaimed and I could see Lionel shoot Sky a meaningful look before he said:

"Hm... I think that was last year. Don't you Sky?"

I watched my younger brother nod in amusement and I couldn't help but flip them both off. They were lying their asses of and having fun on my expense and I was not amused in the slightest.

When I happened to shift my eyes to Ethan I caught the smirk playing on his lips but when he caught my eyes narrowing dangerously he immediately dropped the smirk and gave me an innocent look across the table. He was in sooo much trouble if he even thought of joining forces with my evil brothers.

After dinner we helped my mother put away the dishes, or more exactly... me and Sky watched while Ethan and Lionel helped my mother put away the dishes. I was sitting at the table, glancing at my boyfriend as he made himself familiar in our kitchen. If I didn't know better I'd say I would never get rid of him after having taken him here to meet my family. They liked him too much, at least my mum did...

"Ethan do you want to stay in Matthew's room tonight or would you prefer the guest room since his is usually so messy?" My mother suddenly said and I choked on the water I had just taken a sip of.

"Mum!" I exclaimed, blushing at the fact that she just asked such a question. Didn't she understand how it sounded when she offered my boyfriend to sleep in the same room as me? She was practically asking him if he wanted to have sex with me!

I could see Sky smirk at my obvious astonishment and I didn't miss the small grin playing on Lionel's lips as he watched Ethan nod in my mother's direction.

"Hm... well I'm kind of used to how messy your son is so that wouldn't be a problem, ma'am." He answered, sending me a small smirk when my mother nodded and turned on her feet to walk out of the kitchen.

"Okay then I'll make sure to at least fix it so that you can step inside the room while you go do something fun. Why not watch a movie or play some games or something?" She said before she exited the room and left me with the only people I didn't want to be alone with right now. I knew I was right about that when Lionel turned towards me and his eyes held a glimmer of amusement.

"Sooo you want me to teach you a few tricks baby bro?" He said and I frowned at him in confusion.

"What tricks? What are you talking about?" I answered in irritation and I could see Lionel tilt his head as he flicked his tongue out and smirked at me.
