Chapter 6

DAY 30

You know what hurts me? Actions.

Even though Megan doesn't say anything aloud, she shows that she hates me.

I don't get her honestly and I don't know how to react to her.

I really don't like coming to school.

Lately people are pairing Eddy and Katie up.

She finds it annoying.

And is going to try talking to him about it.

Max is obnoxiously rude. He doesn't care.

And he's blunt about his views.
He doesn't likes it, he'll say it or show it.

I honestly don't blame him.
It's his nature.

Or perhaps someone or something in past that has caused this.

But sometimes I want to tell him that his actions and words could hurt someone really bad, so bad that probably they would get affected emotionally and mentally.

I sing along with Ramona. I see Megan getting all uncomfortable from the corner of my eye, but I couldn't care less.

She deserves this.

"Can you not?" She asks covering her ears.

I grin.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because you are too loud?"

I pretended to think for a moment.

"How about no?" I say and continue singing. Louder than before.

"Look, just shut the fuck up okay?" Max says.

"IN WONDERLAAANNNNNNNNDDDDDDD" I shout and Max cringes.

Megan just gets up and goes outside the class. People give me disappointed looks.

I shrug, I don't care. She gives me hell, she deserves the same.

"What crawled up her ass and died? I mean why does she hate Taylor Swift?"

"Don't bother about it; the thing is that there used to be a girl in this class, Max's ex to be exact and she and Megan were best friends. She used to love Taylor Swift too. She left the school last year." The girl from Sweden whose name I got to know is Mira (pronounced as me-ra) replies.

"So what's bad in that? She should like her then."

"The thing is she misses her, we all do. You both are similar in more than one ways. It's like you are a reminder of her; her twin soul."

I wanted to say "That doesn't justify her behaviour Mira. There are so many things I see around me that remind me of my past, which isn't exactly filled with flowers. That doesn't give me he right to hate it without knowing it. If she really loves that girl, then she should have accepted me"

Instead I ended up saying "I get it."

Mira smiled.

"I am not saying anything."

I could legit feel Max eyes on my back.

That little *beep* full of sh*t.

Me and Katie figured that we will talk to Eddy in Lunch because he is mostly alone in class.

Sometimes Max us there but mostly he's alone.

And it's our lucky day that he isn't there.

Katie wants a little space and time.

She wants distance

And that's what we are going to ask him for.

"Look Eddy, I want to talk to you, if you don't mind." Katie says in her polite voice.

Why am I standing here?

Moral support

"Sure" he replies.

She takes a seat and sits down while I stand there like her body guard.

Again, Moral support.

"Ok, so people have been teasing me with your name. I honestly don't care about what they think but I am not comfortable anymore So I wanted to create a distance for some time so that they stop. I am not comfortable with people teasing me and I hope you understand. We won't actually stop but just do it less."

Am I the only one that thinks it sounds.....dirty??

He smiles and says "Sure, I get it. That would do some good."

Umm ok. It does sound dirty.

She smiles

"We'll still talk."

He nods.

We go out the class and breath a sigh of relief.

Well that went well.
